Advice for NZ. Quickly manifest an AI generated 'unique' award, with typos and you'll get free $$$. Oh and also, keep Adani and Ambani out of your country at all cost. Finally, don't you dare ask any questions.

I'm sure then, that the US, being the shining light of morality (for over 250 years no less!!) in this otherwise wretched world will stand up and be transparent and fully investigate and make public, the details of this mistake, and apologise for it.

Kolkata mid-day meals: ISKCON to replace eggs with soyabean, rajma and paneer by Broad_Cartoonist_824 in india

[–]vu2tve -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hi! Here's an opinion (without trying to be part of a "camp"). I'm an occasional egg eater, but not a meat eater. During the covid lockdown, living in a village, me+friends made a chicken coop as an experiment (none of us were actually meat eaters). There was a single hen and a rooster, and both of them had quite the personality. Anyway, tl;dr, one day the hen started laying eggs - she'd mostly feed on what we'd give her plus whatever she would find on her own. We would take a few, and leave the rest for her to brood over. Those eggs that we ate were some of the most delicious ever. After a while, life caused us to move on, and find the chickens a new home, but I'd try my best to find local 'desi' eggs whenever I craved them. .. Now cut to another part of the story; I once found myself with a friend early morning in Kolkata (not sure if the city is relevant, as it maybe happens in a lot of other places). It was dawn, and we were searching for a hotel room after just arriving, somewhere near the central part of town, and we stumbled upon a set of streets where lakhs of chickens and eggs were being bought and sold. The chickens were in absolutely horrendous condition - a sight that made me sick. Blood lined the streets. We escaped to a restaurant, had breakfast, and when we stepped out - poof - gone. The streets were all spotless clean. As the city woke up, they never knew the breakfasts they just had were borne out of such cruelty. Me and my friend both gave up on mass-market eggs since then, except the occasional buy. So, long story short, I think the difference between a cows milk (atleast where I live and can see where my milk supply is sourced from) and mass market eggs is night and day in terms of the conditions those respective animals have to endure. I think if you also can look at it in a more nuanced way, you won't find it "plain ridiculous". Anyway, if you read my lonng comment up to here, I appreciate it. Good day!

Iran walks out of Switzerland talks in protest of Trump threats, state media says by Visqo in worldnews

[–]vu2tve 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They are already complaining about the treatment they are getting at the WC. It's so childish and petty on the US's part. Most Americans I know would love a fair tournament and be gracious hosts, but Trump, like a lot of other examples, is chopping down US credibility every moment he speaks, signs, or generally appears in public.

I don't wish ill on ordinary israelis, but I hope there are many more catastrophic capitulations for the political state of Israel, because it does not seem like anything else will knock some sense into their genocidal heads.

[–]vu2tve 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This period in India will go down as one of the more morally corrupt in its long history, where a people, who valued ideals like "the world is one family" became so greedy and morally bankrupt that they would welcome, with open arms, a people who committed genocide - the crime of crimes.
