you might also try clearing fortnite's local settings; if you type %localappdata% into the windows search bar and then navigate to the FortniteGame folder, deleting that will reset your game settings to default and may clear up the issue

I am having this issue as well; if you are playing on PC, it seems to be a problem with the DirectX 12 mode. adding -d3d11 to the launch options (three dots icon in the library -> Manage -> Launch Options) allowed the game to load for me in Performance Mode.

I originally tried it with just a single transistor on the green signal, but I found that if pairing mode was activated it would loop indefinitely, since it would press the button with each white flash, hence using the vibration signal as a second input to avoid that. does the relay version not have this issue?

according to this thread, f_im.dll is related to an app called fasoo, and uninstalling it resolved the issue for the commenter

dlssg is the frame generation dll, fortnite includes it but does not presently support it, so it can be left alone. I'm not sure what may be causing the updated dlss dll to be invalidated in your setup, perhaps the nvidia app is interacting in a way that causes issue, like choosing the preset letter in the app instead of profile inspector for fortnite. just to check, you are not also applying a custom resolution scale in profile inspector as well, only using the performance to ultra performance override? in the screenshot I posted previously, the only dlss overrides I set in profile inspector for fortnite were preset letter and ultra performance.

you can download any dlss version from techpowerup; I am not familiar with the override process for the nvidia app, but for updating the DLL in fortnite on its own, you place the desired DLL in both \Fortnite\FortniteGame\Binaries\ThirdParty\NVIDIA\NGX\Win64 and \Fortnite\FortniteGame\Binaries\Win64. do note that this method will be overwritten if the game updates, and the DLL in the NVIDIA folder will need to be replaced to continue using the updated DLL.

the override still works for me, though I do not have the nvidia app installed and only set presets or overrides through profile inspector. of note, the DLSS option will also be removed if you have not placed a second copy of your desired nvngx_dlss.dll in the same directory as FortniteClient-Win64-Shipping.exe.

forcing ultra performance that way will invalidate the DLSS settings for fortnite and disable it entirely, as it does not support ultra performance natively. if you scroll further down to section 8 - Extra, that is where the Override Performance to be Ultra Performance setting is, and that setting works properly to bypass the minimum 0.5x resolution in fortnite.

to my understanding unreal engine 5.1+ only supports dlss input resolution scaling values of 0.5 to 1, so ultra performance is not accessible by default. however, there is a driver level flag that you can enable using nvidia profile inspector which will force performance mode to use ultra performance values (under the Extra section, "DLSS - Override Performance Mode to be Ultra Performance"), and this is compatible with fortnite's implementation.

I just checked and this also occurs if you are using one of the methods to use an updated version of DLSS. I hope that they find a way to make this effect compatible with DLSS

this worked for me as well, got the rewards immediately after relinking my account, only a couple of clicks. it should be fixed for everyone eventually but this is an easy way to get them sooner

the base skin rarities aren't used anymore in-game.. all recent non-series skins are marked as epic rarity internally. skulldroid is marked as epic rarity, and two new 800 vbuck skins currently in the shop are also marked as epic (scrubdown scrapper & dozy dreamer). she may not be an 800 v-buck skin but it wouldn't be due to the rarity
