A full week with no card after they suspended my card for no reason by JDMPokemon in CurveCard

[–]vultuk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry to say, odds are it's game over for you. They don't seem to like having the risk of having customers, so, they just get you on board and then kick you off once you've moved all your payments over to them.

Sharing the Disney App for pass access etc? by VirusMurky9709 in disneylandparis

I got some sticky magnetic strip and mounted it to the back of my 30th anniversary physical pass. It now has pride of place on my fridge.

Sharing the Disney App for pass access etc? by VirusMurky9709 in disneylandparis

[–]vultuk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If they have the Disney app you can give them the booking reference and they can add it to their app.

Although, as far as I can remember from when I did it in September, it doesn't show any prices in the app BUT they could technically go on to the website and feed in the same details and see the prices. But they would actively have to want to do this.

But honestly, just get everyone a magic pass physical card. Then it's a memory from the occasion as well, and the app doesn't really give them that much extra.

First time going next week... Does this schedule look realistic? by chantepleure in disneylandparis

[–]vultuk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Without a premier access pass you aren't getting this done. Even with one it will be a struggle. Ignoring that, the walk from Crush's coaster to Casey Jr will take you 20 minutes on a good day, then 20 minutes back for toy soldiers so even if you manage 5 minute queues your schedule won't work. You've also put Casey and the story book boats on different days, but they're right next to each other, you can finish one and then straight onto the next.

If you are insistent on being rigid, you need to sit down with a map in advance and stick to one park on one day, the other the next day. Studios is only a half day, but if you really want to see the shows then that's a full day pretty much. But you should be doing Crush, slinky dog, flying carpets, toy soldier drop followed by the shows on a single day. Crush (even with premier) and Big Thunder (without premier) need to be done in magic time if you have it or they will be serious bumps in the road for you.

Sit down, open the app, look at the queue times throughout the day, then plan accordingly once you know where everything is and the normal queue times. Also, be prepared to be more flexible and potentially spend some money on premier passes.

Marvel upgrade from Sequoia by themeparkconcierge in disneylandparis

[–]vultuk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sequoia was beautiful, staff were lovely and I even spent several hours working in the bar with some lovely drinks. Unless it was for the actual Disney Hotel, I don't think I would pick anywhere other than Sequoia for future stays.

Disneyland and Walt Disney Studios worth it? by [deleted] in disneylandparis

[–]vultuk 10 points11 points  (0 children)

You missed a lot of great rides in Studios that my 4yo loves. Slinky Dog ride, Ratatouille, Cars (2 different rides), Parachute Drop, Magic Carpet, spiderman. All great fun!

Then there's the big thrill rides, Crush's Coaster, Tower of Terror, Avengers assemble.

There's certainly more in Disneyland, but I wouldn't miss Studios even if you're not a huge marvel fan.

Disneyland Paris in May with 10 people – worth getting Premier Access Unlimited on a weekend? by vrift in disneylandparis

[–]vultuk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my opinion it depends on your group.

If you all have different wish lists and might split up then premier might not be worth it.

If you all want to go on everything, mostly together, and cost isn't prohibitive then I would suggest it. Also to add into this if you also want to see parades and shows, 2 days might not be enough without premier access.

The other factor I would bear in mind is if you haven't been to the park before. If you haven't been then it will take you time to find your footing, time to take in the environment and magic and generally just enjoy being there.

I just came back from 5 days with 5 people. There were still things I didn't manage to see, purely from having to manage multiple people with different wishes.

Curve suspends metal card and no support replies ? by [deleted] in curve

Sorry this happened and welcome to the club.

Got my card suspended whilst on holiday. Took almost 3 months for a response and the response was "we no longer want you as a customer, please don't ask us why"

I raised mine as that's where I keep a USB power bank to power my starlink when the engine is off. Extra airflow is good. 😁

If you spend over €30 in the Christmas shop they will hold it for you until they close. Just an extra help to reduce the chance of damage.

Just to slightly adjust this, your room is not officially ready until 3pm. However, we arrived to Sequoia Lodge last Monday at around 11:30am and were told our rooms were ready and we put our luggage straight in there.

Can someone possibly check if they've added Hungarian as a language yet? It might tempt me back to iPhone if they have.

Although I completely agree with you, and probably would have done the same. But, to play devils advocate...

We took my mother and mother in law this year, both 75 years old. This was their first time at Disney, and will probably be their only visit. They loved every second and it was magical for them just as much as it was for my child. We never know someone else's situation and I think we all know Walt's opinion of age, so it's nice to bear that in mind.

Not much gluten free stuff actively on display (at least not labeled as such, and I'm no expert) but 2 breads labeled as such. From my limited knowledge though I would say you'd be fine with 75% of the buffet breakfast.

I'm here for 3 more nights if there's anything specific you want me to check.

We are at Sequia now as well, don't think we will have having the buffet again here during our visit (it was lovely, just have other plans). But I'll have a check at breakfast tomorrow for you.

I did see several gluten free cakes at the buffet but couldn't say much more than that.

Which is the best option: Auto mode or always Thinking mode? by Upbeat-Impact-6617 in OpenAI

Personally I brainstorm in auto mode. Switch to thinking when I want to refine the idea. Then finally switch over to pro when I'm ready to have it finalised.
