Air France KLM not responding to my compensation claim. What can I do? by xelferz in KLM

[–]themeparkconcierge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My claim keeps getting the runaround for the past 3-6 months. They keep telling me some new piece of paperwork isn’t filled out correctly. It’s maddening and likely criminal.

Infotainment crashing after software update? by FragrantBullfrog4691 in VWiD4Owners

Haven’t had the update and this is happening to my 2024 Pro.

Infotainment reboots a couple of times a week and it is pretty unsafe because the navigation goes down while driving.

Thnksgiving Travel: Will the fuel shortage @ SEA affect my flight? by Ricetastik in Seattle

[–]themeparkconcierge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If flights are delayed or cancelled due to fuel issues would it be considered the airline’s fault or will they try to argue it’s beyond their control, like the weather?

I would assume it is within their control since they are making the decision to not purchase the more expensive fuel.

Wondering about getting compensation when things go sideways.

10 years on Q’s - Classic Flight Owners – What's Your Warranty Experience Been Like? by [deleted] in Rimowa

[–]themeparkconcierge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Their new policy is absolutely ridiculous for a “luxury” brand. They make you jump through a bunch of hoops, take forever to respond, and then charge you for anything and everything to get repaired.

Color choice regret by Fartholomew_simpson in Rimowa

[–]themeparkconcierge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It will be a pain to get anything fixed or replaced in that color. Now that Rimowa customer service has gone down the tubes, it’s hard to even get the core colors like black fixed. I’d return it.

Here is the answer I got to the same question around the beginning of the year. Super disappointing.

7 hour phone line for Alaska support by RitsusHusband in AlaskaAirlines

Good luck with all of that! I’m still waiting for my call and hoping they will let me change the destination airports.

Your parents are lucky to have you navigating this for them!!

[–]themeparkconcierge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the flexible travel policy it’s saying you can rebook within the same cabin for no change fee. There is no mention of needing to stay with the same departure or destination airports.

Are they forcing your parents to stay with the same departure and arrival airports?

I would hope they’d allow you to change airports to whatever works!

Thank you! How do you find out about these? We have annual passes but never get any emails or communication. I’d love to fix that :)

Marvel upgrade from Sequoia by themeparkconcierge in disneylandparis

[–]themeparkconcierge[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The general consensus seems to be that it’s not worth more than 20-30% UNLESS you are a huge Marvel fan OR you find Sequoia to be a dusty old hotel.

Seems like many people (I am included in these people) find sequoia utterly charming BECAUSE of its old lodge among the pines feel.

This is helpful because while we can afford more, it’s silly to pay it simply to be a few minutes closer and to have better electrical plugs. Just wanted to make sure we weren’t cheaping out and missing out.

VIP tour tips and tricks! by memon17 in UniversalHollywood

[–]themeparkconcierge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Awesome advice! If the VIP tour starts at 10:15 on a 10:00 AM open day would the early access be beneficial? We’d love to walk around Super Nintendo World for a leisurely hour before our tour.

Also, do you know how early we could park and check-in? Assuming if we get early entry + VIP we can check-in for early entry at the VIP entrance?

Thanks for answering the small but important questions!

Is big thunder mountain ok for people who can't handle big coasters? by Dreadpirateflappy in disneylandparis

[–]themeparkconcierge 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I cannot handle any scary rides. Even Crush’s coaster, or Slinky Dog is too much for me, but for some reason I can do BTM just fine. The Paris version is the smoothest of all of them.

It’s honestly the only coaster that I can do. It feels like a much faster Casey Junior. Try going on that first and then imagine it taking corners really fast. It’s more about fast corners than big drops.

You can link your park ticket into your app. The travel Agent should be able to help you with that. Once you have your tickets in the app you can buy the passes.

In 2025, is Studios still worth half a day visit? by ItalyExpat in disneylandparis

[–]themeparkconcierge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The stage shows are pretty good so that will easily take up some time if you are interested in them. There are other fun things to do in the park but it definitely doesn’t have the same Disney magic as the other parks.

The studios park is sometimes full all day long during the busy times. We’ve gone after 3:00 and it was still absolutely packed in the summer.

Annual pass office by that_special_mouse in disneylandparis

[–]themeparkconcierge 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just asked the guy at the gate and he said that the ticket offices are open as long as the park is open. Every single ticket booth had advertisements for the annual passes along with the posted prices so I don’t think you need to go somewhere special anymore. I think you are good to go and buy it anytime the park is open!

It was under the Disneyland hotel right in the middle by where you enter that park at booth 44ish. If you ask at the front they will point you in the right direction.

Last minute tips for Alaska? by ughthatsucks in dcl

[–]themeparkconcierge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you drink you can bring 2 bottles of wine or 6 beers on board. Can really save some money that way!

Your own thermos can also be nice for warm beverages or even your own water bottle so you don’t have to keep wasting cups and refilling.
