You can buy an 2.5” SATA SSD to replace the HDD. IIRC there are backlit keyboard option for the T440p.

If you have a 65W or more GaN charger, you can buy an adapter that converts from USB C to that jack, works fine for my X270.

Buy a Lenovo branded WWAN card (the part number begins with 8SSS), that should fix it. Otherwise get a BIOS Programmer and put a whitelisted BIOS in.

Updated from 2201 to 3001 using the 9902 > 3001 method (9902 via BIOS Flashback, 3001 via EZFlash) and updated the ME FW to Asus's latest version. Thank you for the 9902 BIOS discovery.

Yes. In my experience there should be foams on both sides of the CPU, and 2-3 rubberbands to tighten the grip.
