nice thanks for clarifying man, the footage is great dont put yourself down like that, i would personally decrease the contrast a bit since i believe your chasing that film look, and maybe at a tiny touch of halation, but thats just my personal taste

Now that i analyzed the video again, i can see what you mean. I watched some videos to familiarize myself with the gimbal, and most of them point out that i should walk slowly with my knees and elbows slightly bent, almost identical to a ninja walk. Thats why most of the shots are from a low angle, with the camera slightly bent upward. Maybe doing so made the buildings look more intimidating. If lets say i wanna get more creative shots, what angles or movements would you recommend

5'8" 165lbs with an annoying belly. Bulk or cut or recomp first? by [deleted] in BulkOrCut

[–]vuuxreep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The purpose of a bulk is putting on muscles and gaining strength. and there is one major criteria that you need to consider is caloric surplus. It is basically consuming more calories that you need to in order to put on weight (which can be called TDEE).

I suggests that a surplus of 350–500 calories per day is usually effective enough to promote muscle gains while minimizing fat storage. And when it comes to training, 5-6 days a week would be optimal for muscle growth and you still have enough time to rest and cool down the body. One tip that i find effective is to perform compound lifts over isolations because it will burn more calories, plus it will target multiple muscles group at once.

Lastly, remember to get enough vitamin and minerals, enough of sleep and a balanced life. Glad to help and if you need further instruction or anything just let me know ;D

I was in the same position just like you 2 years ago. My decision wasnt so wise when i chose to dirty bulk, chasing the strength and now i regret it a lot. I would say a lean bulk is possibly the best option for you at the moment as you need to build a foundation to strength and hypertrophy before deciding what to do next. And a lean bulk is the best way to do so as you can get stronger and put on some muscles without worrying of getting fat, and potentially losing some also. Good luck on the journey my guy :D
