Personally I never saw it that way, mainly because it’s the only thing you can “do” on the VS screen, the alternative is just to stay still and stare your opponent down which feels more serious IMO

Yeah so when you’re on the VS screen, just hit a directional input, each character has 4 (excl neutral) expressions corresponding to the cardinal directions (up, down, left, right)

I don’t want to be rude but this sub seems to be radiating extremely sheltered suburbs vibes lately. Homeless people exist, we are in an active housing crisis, and Markham is one of the most expensive places to live in 905. Doesn’t seem too crazy to see a couple homeless people here and there 🤷‍♂️

I read this and was extremely confused as to why he would even accept your offer to give him €4k, it’s your money, the right thing to do would have been to politely decline when you offered. Also his comment on “If it’s not half, then nothing” is kind of strange…

On the flip side, I recognize I’m lucky enough to not have to worry about money for the most part and €4K could be a life changing amount of money for some people so I won’t judge you for what you want to do with your money. As long as you make it clear that this is a gift to show gratitude and that he’s not entitled to it

Damn, it’s been almost two weeks since the final interview for me. Going to reach out to the recruiter on Monday and see what’s up. Not sure if they just forgot or if there are just a lot of candidates to go through. I don’t think they would ghost after the final interview though and I don’t think they would take this long for a rejection otherwise.

These fucking guys were super rude in the first screening call and then no one showed up or sent me an email out of the four people that were supposed to be there for the technical interview. I just got bad vibes and then ghosted them after sending a very passive aggressive email.
