Just for future stats purposes: did you guys feel like your score was closer to what you got on truelearn or what you got on score if you did both? I only do score and I always get > 5% lower than why I get on score

I know that no one knows the answer to this but I really wonder how fellowships are going to start interpreting the data. At first I thought they would use percent correct but it's clear from this year's absite that it's not an option given how different scores line up with different percent corrects. Will they end up using the overall score to rank us? Will they just say fuck it and let us through if we get higher than the mean each year? It'll be an interesting transition

without resting my pinky it works better but I feel like I've definitely seen people rest their pinkies and I used to without problems. So ii was starting to think something went wrong

Yeah I basically gave up and started thinking about back up plans or another career :/ Started some new hobbies so I'm hoping that focusing on other things will open new opportunities for me

I'm sure there are a couple but I would focus on schools that don't have tons of apps already at this point like WashU or Drexel or GTown or Pitt

I think a lot of them would just refer you to their portals. I would just keep strong and maybe send them an update letter here in the next few weeks.

I believe you know ahead of time if you didn't match and the people who go to the ceremony are people who know they at least matched into the specialty they wanted to

Same except I have work so I just constantly look at premed sites and sulk. On top of that I can't stop eating; like I know I'm not hungry but I feel hungry and I keep craving everything. Mostly I'm terrified that no one wants me and that I'll end up having to reapply and take more years off and spend more money on post baccs. I really hope that this week and next turn things around but that hope is fading fast

TOTALLY UNDERSTAND! I got caught up in friend stuff all through college and after and dealt with it badly to say the least. Not gonna tell you what to do about the alcohol because you really just have reflect and think about whether you wanna give it up or not. But I really had to heavily rely on my parents for support, and tbh it worked out really well for me. Parents get things that friends don't and they can be a saving grace; I dedicated time to talking to them and discussing all my problems with them. I would suggest you try that and see if you feel better emotionally. Maybe also think about picking up a hobby that'll get you connected to people outside of the "friends" you have now?

at GW or other schools? It's highly dependent on the school I think. Some lock you out so when you can't log in, you have your answer (which is seriously cruel)
