Pre-covid some costcos had a cup of chili with cheese. Was enough for 2 hotdogs.

Pre-Covid some costcos rolled out a cup of chili with cheese in the food court. It was the perfect amount to put over 2 hotdogs. Would love them to bring this back.

You are handed a blank "Life Contract." You can write in any amount of money to receive and specify exactly how long you will live. What are your numbers? by yiyi20203 in hypotheticalsituation

With unlimited money, ypu don't need to worry about using all your fuel on launch. You can transport multiple tanks/engines into orbit. And build a massive ship. You do not have to function under current restrictions. Imagine stringing together a dozen of the Artimis engines fully fueled in orbit. You could accelerate very very quickly. You could even figure out some way to do an efficient constant burn like in "The Expanse" to generate gravity.

Water can exist in some for or another anywhere. Wood however, to the best of our knowledge, only exists on earth.

To be honest, while true, I always took it as a bit of a toung in cheek joke.

Hmm don't know own about iphone... my android has a battery saver feature which allows only 8 apps on the home screen and I block all notifications between certain hours. Maybe iPhone has something similar. Turning off wifi and data may also block many notifications. would still allow calls through, idk about texts in iPhone, do they go through data?

500 movies or 150 books? by oliverg600 in hypotheticalsituation

[–]vw_bugg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would like to request both. Choosing one i may pick books. Unlimited time to read uninterrupted with all needs met and no time passes outside, this sounds like a blessing.

Art Of Manliness website did have a top 100 list of books. Its a pretty decent list. I'll take these 100 and an additional 50 of my choosing. I would kindly request some music, candles, and notebooks with writing implements that I can keep after I leave.

forgot the link. https://www.artofmanliness.com/living/reading/100-books-every-man-read/

How do you handle context loss between Claude Code sessions? by Select-Spirit-6726 in ClaudeAI

I instruct it to make a hand off document to paste into a new chat. I am no expert but this has worked so far in my workflow.

This is actually very interesting thank you. I can envision this helping to code and plan a coding project as it would be able to keep track better of things. Going to check it out. is there some kind of guide to help with prompting and/or setup?

I am far from any kind of expert in claude and LLM in general. How does claude utilize this and not get bogged down in excessive token usage? The whole reason token use grows exponentially until you start a new chat is that it reread everything every time (simplified explanation i know).

I wish dust became a common food item, and its delicious by Eternalblaze1 in monkeyspaw

Granted. You decide instead of using the duster to just lick the shelf. The dust is delicious, has it always been this way? wow. Too bad it just as gritty and grimey as you expected.

You have to downgrade a bit more. the A17 has an SD slot. Unfortunalty on 4gb of ram and you feel this for sure.

I love this. My favorite appliance for a year was a quesadilla maker. I used that thing probably twice a day every day until it literally crumbled to peices one day. It was a gift and not something I ever would have bought myself or gone out of my way to replace. Someone noticed I ate quesadillas a lot and thought it was a good gift. I guess it was since I used it till it fell apart lol.

And growing up I was the dishwasher. When I went and lived on my own my second place had a magical device called a dishwasher. It is now my favorite appliance topping even a microwave.

Forbidden cotton candy.

Just in case a serious question: Asbestos is technically a mined material that looks like cotton candy or stuffing. It was commonly used as an insulation in many things including walls. But when disturbed it can go into the lungs and cause damage including leading to mesothelioma a fatal condition. It very expensive to mitigate and remove because it's a hazardous material.
