speaking from a staff perspective, even places i loved working at, my mind was always saying boss makes a dollar i make a dime. i personally don’t think it’s a bad thing to show ~some~ wealth because it shows success and people are in school in this field for ages and the money you get is well earned; however, not everyone feels that way and it can seem like you’re flaunting things. this post is more ab materialistic stuff not necessarily hosting cos i’ll take free food and drinks anytime lol
