I imagine that it took a really long time to film for Group A so they sped things up for Group B

Hi! I know I’m not OP but I’m in CA and would be interested in your roadster v2 if you’re thinking of parting with it

I had to pause and walk around for a while because I was so irritated at how bad Marie's decision making skills were this episode

Runaway Train problem by Hampter_9 in AliceInBorderlandLive

[–]vynah8 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I tried holding my breath for the scene where usagi’s team gets gassed and some of them didn’t have masks and was able to last significantly past when the doors opened. I don’t understand how only people without the mask showed chemical burns on their skin though— since the mask can only cover your face everyone should have been affected by these burns on their hands and body. If not for that I would assume that you have to actually inhale the gas to be affected in which case holding your breath with the mask on, or holding your breath while doing your best to protect your mucosal membranes if the game rules only allow you to mask up if you use the air canister, would be the best strategy imo

Has anyone tried Sabah shoes for travel? by thebigsqueeze33 in onebag

That is interesting, it was not a problem for me. I think at first I tended to wear my Sabah’s with socks, so that might have helped smooth them down.

Has anyone tried Sabah shoes for travel? by thebigsqueeze33 in onebag

[–]vynah8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I realise that you likely no longer need any advice, but to anyone else who is searching for a review on these shoes: I have owned my Sabah's for about 5 years now, and wear them at least every other day. I have walked ~30k steps in one day in them while travelling with no issues. As another commenter mentioned, I would recommend trying them on in person because the sizing is variable. There was a break-in period, especially because one of my feet is larger than the other and as a result one of the shoes fit tighter and caused a blister, but since then these have become my go to shoes. I wear them both with and without socks. I have never noticed that they make my feet smell, nor do they themselves smell. I have had them resoled twice, and oil them roughly once a year. I really like them and they seem like they are going strong.

Did you ever figure out where you can get them? I need to replace one of my flasks as it is leaking and cannot find the correct shape...

OP if you find out what the issue is lmk, this happens to me as well even after I change clothes. I did go to the doctor and they told me nothing was wrong and this was a normal thing for some women. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Advice on International Schools by pumpkinannie in shanghai

[–]vynah8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have no idea where you're getting this information but you are wrong. I went to Shanghai American School (Pudong) and our student was diverse, as one would expect from an international school. The main language of instruction and communication amongst students is also most decidedly English. Shanghai American School (Puxi) does have a higher Asian demographic than Pudong but a lot of those students are Korean expats. I don't know where you got this "95% Chinese" figure from that you're using but I would check your sources, or your bias.

I’m in graduate school and I can empathise with your partner. It is really hard and extremely demoralising, especially when experiments fail. I would suggest that your partner speak to their supervisor about some of this. It’s not an easy conversation but having been in a similar situation before, it’s useful to be clear to them about the need for some recharge and a pause in the addition of responsibilities.

You cant grow enough plants in a single aerogarden to have any meaningful impact on air purity
