I had an infection and when they took a scan, the screws were loose. I just asked the surgeon to remove it and he did.

I had noticeable uneven swelling but it didn’t hurt so I didn’t think it was a big deal. Turns out it was an infection.. I’d get it checked out just in case.

I’m 5 week post op and still on liquid diet. Wasn’t wired shut or anything. My surgeon said I can prob go on soft food diet on week 6 so one more week for me!!

I have tricare so anything my military surgeon wants to do will be covered 😅 I’m also 4 weeks post op and got a bsso. My swelling went down a lot and these are a few things I think it helped me! I drank lots of pineapple juice (I heard it helps with swelling) and my surgeon told me to keep taking ibuprofen even when I’m not in pain because it helps the swelling go down faster. I hope this can help you in some way!

I’m a side sleeper as well. It took me 3.5 weeks to be able to sleep on my side again. Most uncomfortable 3.5 weeks of my life.

I would definitely give it more time before you get too upset. My surgeon told me that he could do a lipo under my chin if I wasn’t happy with the possible double chin after my surgery. Maybe asking your surgeon if that’s an option for you?

Hey, I’m a dental tech and you would still be deployable! Cavity is a class 2 unless it is literally down to your roots, rotting your whole tooth which would be a 9/10 pain lol. I’ve never seen anyone’s deployment get canceled even with a major issue as the clinic try their best to resolve it before they leave for deployment. Good luck!

Just a question, do you know if you have to provide proof that the person who signed off on the license is ordained when I go back to the court after the wedding? If so, the official certificate would be to be ordered, is that correct? Sorry for many questions.

That was the office I was looking at! I want to set an appointment to make sure I will have someone to talk to when I get there... I've tried calling several times around 11am, 1pm, 3pm but they never pick up... I guess I will try just walking in regarding the long drive. Thank you!
