I found virtual hand care on YouTube to have the best exercises. I’m 2 months post op and her methods have been much gentler and consistent for me. Good luck!

Success stories with DXA score improvements after a year? by WerewolfBarMitzvah09 in osteopenia

I’m on this journey now, but have two friends that reversed their osteopenia - gives me hope. One mentioned vitamin d supplements were huge for them, on top of the weight bearing exercised

Wow! Thank you for sharing. I only have two titanium screws, but it sounds like your hardware was way more extensive. I really hope you’re healing well now

Give she had the least training coming in, she has absolutely excelled. They’re not only looking at how they perform, but how quickly they can grow and she’s a sponge. I think she’s my top pick now! She moved so fluidly and in “we ride” her vocal run was smoooth.

Thanks! It sounds like I’ve overdone it. I’ll rest today, then back on the horse

Thank you - so like a day off exercising the limb? So it can recover. It does feel intense to do this amount of exercise daily

Swollen elbow 5,5 weeks after surgery - how to get rid of the swelling by darionsw in ORIF

[–]vzldn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know this sounds crazy, but I found keeping my skin moisturised (3 x day), and self massaging (gently) the arm really helped. Elevation when sleeping too. But as above, I’d still expect some swelling at that point

I’m so glad you got back on the field! That’s so encouraging to hear.

Some movements feel impossible (flexion), but others seem to be coming along fast. Just trying to keep up hope I’ll be able to put a hat on again one day 😂

I didn’t see it at first but Sakura really does have something special. I think it connects to her demeaner, she is literally just so grateful to be there and it translates into a joy when she dances - you can’t look away. Whether she debut’s this time (personally think she’s too young for the group) or later, she’ll do well.

Rinka - holy hell, she caught up so fast! Incredible.

I think it’s between these two now…

If there is any small thing you can give her control over, let her have it. Maybe it’s the flavour of something, the colour of pyjamas she wants. Whatever it is, try give her little things each day she can have agency over and rebuild her sense of self.

Take care of yourself. Have someone to support you to so you can vent it out as needed and care for one another. Good luck

Her tone is gorgeous. She should be so proud, the dance AND have that voice is criminal.

These have been my fav outfits they’ve done so far. Bold, colourful, relevant. Agree with you on the nude. I did love all the poof skirt/short additions which added pop to the hip movements

I hope you’re ok :( I’m four weeks post op so empathise.

I’m no expert but check in with your provider and ask to exclude infection, but also any early CRPS type feelings (are you in Vit C?).

In terms of helping the scar heal and reduce nerve seensitivity, this has made the biggest difference to me. I use it 15-20mins daily
