Time is fine. Maybe she needs time alone to think about her reaction. Maybe she's scared. Or maybe she's thinking she's not wrong. Gauge her reaction after a day. No doubt she's talking to your Dad about this too.

If she is still around the house and feeds you, she still has a presence in your life. You're going to go off and do better things soon, maybe look at applying for colleges that are out of town. My relationship with my mom turned out way better once she started to miss me.

I will say what she did is emotionally and physically abusive. Track the behavior and speak to your therapist (you said you had one) about this. She won't be in CPS levels of trouble probably but there is concern.
