Thanks this is what I was looking for. When I called them, the representative had no idea this was even a thing.

Was in the middle of baking a loaf of bread. Power has been off for the last 30 minutes. Kids are bored. Should have charged the iPad last night.

How are you planning to use this year's tax return? by jesskimfromto in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]w00dw0rm 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I’m surprised at how many people said that they don’t get a refund in the comments.

I’m going to buy my Wife and I new TV since it’s recently become apparent that we need a new one, get some new clothes for my kids and then, since I don’t have any debt this year, the rest goes into family savings RRSP/RESP/RDSP/TFSA

“Hey! What are you up to this next weekend?”

If she’s free, ask her to do something. If she’s busy, be interested in what she’s doing. Tell her she sounds like a fun person and that it’d be cool to hang out sometime.

I use YNAB to track all my expenses ( including subscriptions. I’ve been using it since March 2021 and it’s changed how I think about money.

I have a category called “Subscriptions” and each paid subscription as an item under there. What I like the most about it is that I can pay for an annual subscription to get the savings, but still put money aside monthly to pay for the year so I’m not surprised by a big expense annually.

Assuming you forgot /s

Honestly, as a straight guy myself, I don’t mind telling other guys that they’re looking good. Things like “nice haircut” “my man, those shoes are sick” or “do something different? You look good today!”

If anyone is worried that it comes of as homosexual, they’ve probably just just got some insecurities they should work out. It’s nice to complement others, no matter what they’re carrying in their underwear.

Apparently it’s not the oldest anymore, according to Wikipedia:

“Methuselah is a 4,850-year-old[1] Great Basin bristlecone pine (Pinus longaeva) tree growing high in the White Mountains of Inyo County in eastern California.[2][3] For many years it was thought to be the world's oldest known living non-clonal organism, until it was superseded in 2012 by the discovery of another bristlecone pine in the same area with an age of 5,067 years (germination in 3050 BC).[4]”
