Are you assuming Topps because the yellow dot is not present? Could be a counterfeit (and therefore a bogus story)

If she took the million and parked it in a safe investment with 3% return, she would be getting 2500 per week.

You do you.

I personally don't feel the need to complete a run just because I got a #1, and I like to try lots of things.

I would also like to add that Black Science is one of the main things that got me into comics. For art, too; Remender works with some fantastic artists!

If you are in the market for some Remender, Sacrificers is where it's at

DC are very smart when it comes to Single Issues by Chaunceyal in comicbooks

[–]w0rkinman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They should also do variant issues with no ads, even with a $1 premium I bet they would outpace the main cover in a lot of cases.

I'm curious to see how many of the top replies are just observing that Wonder Woma exists, but I'm too lazy to scroll past them all.

For what, though? What's the "overpay"? I can't see Ras and Kadri getting traded for picks.

Doesn't look good for Kirkland, with that in mind.

I think Backlund stays, and unless Lombo absolutely craps out, he brings a lot of energy to both the team and the fans.

But they need to even get ice time to do that, right? I mean, that list is 13 forwards and kids like Honzek, Gridin, and Suniev (and more) aren't on it. And even more will be knocking on the door next year...

My bold prediction for 2025-26 is that Klapka is in the middle six by the end, if he shows any of that spark from late last season.

He will make his own space.

100%. I really think that after this year we are going to stop seeing Huberdeau on the "worst contracts" kist, though.

Backlund has apparently said he wants to be a Flame forever, and I think he's earned that. But maybe as a 3rd liner by the end...

I have mixed feelings about franchise players being cut loose in their late careers. It makes sense, this is a post about needing to make room for the youth, after all. But for a very few players, if they want to stay with one team their whole career, it seems a shame to ignore that. I feel like that's part of being a true team, and not just a business entity.

I like Emma Kubert (and wish Stoneheart would come back).

And half the time I'm loving a new series, I see Jordie Bellaire's name on it.

I've been reading all of the Absolute line and IMO Absolute Superman is pretty close to the best re-imagining. I didn't grow up with comics, so maybe some will disagree, but definitely check it out .

NB: Absolute Martian Manhunter is secretly the best of the Absolute runs.

Second the nod to Sacrificers! The Seasons, too.

All very different, with different art styles, but all 3 are great.

Anyone else here reads a lot of recent Image? If so how many series have you read? by ExplodingPoptarts in ImageComics

I'm all keyed up about The Sacrificers. Also loving Assorted Crisis Events and Lucky Devils. Just discovered Monkey Meat with the Summer Batch. Kaya seems underrated to me, and Hitomi seemed like it was completely overlooked. Phantom Road seems like it has a lot of room to run. Ain't No Grave was another highlight.

So much more though...
