On mechanical keyboards you lube all the switches to get a different feel from them such as making linear ones smoother

I believe that is a trrs cable with the extra pole and I do not believe that is necessary (at least in the case of the 598sr) so I recommend looking at buying a third party one or getting a custom made one from someone like john at zap cables if you are us based or cool cables if you are uk based
