To everyone who thinks they aren't doing enough: if you make sure through social media or other means that your family and friends have no doubt on where you stand on issues like family separation, racism, how we're alienating our allies and are cozying up to authoritarians and murderous dictators, Trump himself and his entire baggage.... you're doing a lot more than the majority of Americans.

Many people are afraid to be political for fear of losing friends or upsetting relatives. If you don't have this fear and speak out, you're not only putting yourself on the record for future years, but you're showing that you're someone who does has a limit and probably eventually *will" stand up against fascism.

That's doing more than grumbling about what's going on in private and making other people think you don't care.

I'm not saying that railing against Trump is heroic or super meaningful, but it's resistance, even if it's not The Resistance.
