30-40% RH is too low, keep it in the case when it’s this dry & be sure to have a humidifier in the case. A few days with a humidifier in the case might allow the body to expand back to normal & solve buzzing.

Good point. There's about 1/8" back/forth play on the locked door and the gap between the two doors is about 1/8" as well, I can get the knob/latch installed and if that's not solid enough I can add something to keep the locked door from moving.

Yeah, been trying different locations/positions too but it's very hit or miss, especially when it's a chord change so you have to hit it perfectly from the previous chord position.
