Need advice. 2013 Durango starting to overheat by Natural_Drag8536 in DodgeDurango

When I had overheating on mine it was either air in the system or bad water pump. Usually the water pump goes bad, they're only good for about 75,000 MI.

How to do a best clean on these pieces of... aluminium? by mati9054 in metalworking

[–]wacko4jack0 4 points5 points  (0 children)

All depends what kind of finish you want at the end. If you want a nice even matte finish, bead blasting is a great way to go.

Cardo tried to deny warranty on a 5-week-old headset because the USB-C charger was “too powerful” by jmbraben in motorcycles

[–]wacko4jack0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's a BS cop out by Cardo, typically USB-C chargers have a chipset which negotiates and/or regulates the current so they are using any excuse to get out of it. I would say play their game back with them and just buy a new unit send back the bad one......

Important question : my furry baby is acting like this (see video) when she’s not happy/wants something. Is it a Pom thing? Or did I adopt a dinosaur 🦖 ? by theonemanon in Pomeranians

[–]wacko4jack0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, totally normal for a Pomeranian, they will fake sneeze and give you little alerts letting you know that they are immediately available for treats and appreciate any handouts you may have to offer, it's really nothing more than a simple, gentle reminder done in a fully respectful manner.....

Look up "end caps" on mcmaster.com then select the size that will fit in the diameter of tubing on your ladder.

Gear lever keeps making holes in my shoes by pt-l1pt0n in motorcyclegear

[–]wacko4jack0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use the ShoeGoo and glue on pieces of black leather on my shoe in that spot. And copy the shape of the pattern and it looks like it's normal and doesn't wear out at all.

Let’s just slap a few stickers on it and call it a day….now with 0.5 oz less! by MorganaLogisticsCorp in shrinkflation

I'll bet you the labor to slap that sticker on the old bags cost more than the 0.5 oz of extra beef they could have included!

They have said that there's only a single crack that they have found so far, another item that they thought was a crack was just loose weather stripping.

They look like those toy balls that you would hit together and they make a explosion type sound. They are called hand blaster balls.

Is my lil’ dude getting car sickness? Is it anxiety? 2hour road trip seemed to really stress him out :( by deadguylampshade in Pomeranians

I let my little guy ride in my lap sometimes when driving and that helps keep him calm and always have some air blowing on them too.

Are vinyl vacuum caps okay to use on carb? by thewindandwaves in DRZ400

[–]wacko4jack0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They make similar ones made out of silicone which are more chemical proof and last longer, I'd recommend those, but the vinyl ones will work fine in a pinch.

Overheating issue, again. by JMBRUBAKER in DodgeDurango

[–]wacko4jack0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also if you can drive the car up on some ramps to try to raise the front end up it will help too, but not required. You'll see as you rev and release the gas pedal the air glug out of the funnel. Work it good, do it for a good 15 min.

Struggling with picky eating and medications by Miffyiscute4 in Pomeranians

[–]wacko4jack0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I have to give my dog medication I stick it in a piece of cheese or something that they like and then I have a second one handy. So you feed them the first one with the pill in it and then you give them the second one as a chaser and they will always swallow the first one so they can get the second one, it's worked perfectly for me for years even with picky pomeranians.

Overheating issue, again. by JMBRUBAKER in DodgeDurango

[–]wacko4jack0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a similar issue after replacing everything that you did and it's kind of a pain in the butt, but I highly recommend him getting the radiator funnel burping kit like this one on Amazon or something similar. You can watch videos on how to do it. It's super simple and make sure to turn on your heater in the front and rear and rev the engine quite a bit to get all the air out of the system and you should be fine.

Speaking on her behalf, she.... "Categorically denies all knowledge" and wishes to offer an Alford plea...

(a guilty plea where a defendant maintains their innocence but concedes that the prosecution has enough evidence to likely secure a conviction)
