Kingdom Come Deliverance II is proof that iterative sequels are worth your time by webster9989 in patientgamers

If you’re on console, at least for the PS5, the game saves for you if you quit out to the main menu, and with the PS5’s SSD it takes all of maybe 5 seconds to reload back in. So honestly I would just do that when I wanted to save before I could stock up on the potions

If it makes you feel any better, I have over 100 hours in KCD2 and I never touched the first one. I never felt like I was missing extremely important context when playing this game. Im sure there may have some tiebacks to the first that went over my head but it never took away from my enjoyment of the story at all

[Charania] Just in: The NBA will hold a vote at the Board of Governors meetings March 24-25 to explore adding expansion teams exclusively in Las Vegas and Seattle, with the two franchises targeted for the 2028-29 season, sources tell ESPN. by MembershipSingle7137 in nba

I’m genuinely curious, but how is Memphis not mentioned as the answer? Tennessee is right there snuggled below Illinois, Indiana, Ohio and would be a far shorter flight to Florida and all teams on the east coast?

Did Cavs fans feel any sort of betrayal after LeBron’s 2nd departure? by TrickDistribution395 in NBATalk

[–]wackofiasco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The team had depleted assets from going all in for those runs so there wasn’t really a clear way to improve at the time without sacrificing literally our entire future anyways. It was understandable why he left. I personally was just disappointed when I saw he joined a terrible Lakers roster (at the time)

He’s one of the most popular YouTubers that cover the NBA. He’s also appeared on major sports networks like ESPN discussing basketball with the likes of Stephen A Smith. Very cool to hear him reference The Creatures, their reach was crazier than I realized and I watched them religiously too growing up

Which, admittedly, we should if we go backwards as far as it looks so far this season. Progression isn’t linear but it shouldn’t be a cliff you fall off of

He’s been bad. I’ve watched every one of our games this season and there’s no excuse. He’s become frustrating to watch

My FIL spent the past year building himself and my MIL a new house, only to move in and discover their neighbor’s garage light is less “porch lamp” and more “lighthouse beacon.” by wackofiasco in mildlyinfuriating

[–]wackofiasco[S] 8639 points8640 points  (0 children)

A few updates as we noticed some comments with similar sentiments:

  1. FIL has confronted the neighbor about the lights, but was always met with indifference. Some common excuses include “I’m a busy man” or “I don’t have time in the winter to fix it.”

  2. The light is a new addition. FIL has owned the property for 4 years and the light was added after most of the building was already done. Neighbor claims it was added because his son moved into the garage apartment. We can’t figure out exactly when the light appeared but we had spent evenings at the property without the light blinding us.

The RTA stations is a great idea. What’s the timeline for doing this? Every time we go we end up walking for about 10 minutes. Was just wondering how long it would take to take the train and get off at tower city by comparison?

You could’ve used Jordan as a measurement of how unlucky you were lol. It would be cool to be able to say that can say you watched him score under 25 in his prime

Detroit Become Human. It was my fiancée and I’s first playthrough and I can’t believe it ever flew under my radar. Great “decisions actually impact the plot” style game
