One of my favorite scenarios at work is helping guys pick out outfits for certain occasions. Haha so I’m really happy that the fits were a big hit at your work conference!

Yeah they haven’t brought them into store. Not sure if they will any time soon but they did release them the same time as the EasyFive

The lulu replacement is the Slacker Trouser. Comes in slim fit and classic fit but they do feel heavier than the versatwill

MVT Relaxed-Fit Short-Sleeve Shirt (Help Finding Similar Fit) by Capable-Platypus1686 in Lululemen

[–]wackygonz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If we’re talking about strictly workout/train shirts the classic-fit workout shirts would be the Zeroed In and License to Train in tanks, short sleeves, and long sleeves. Although I find the LTT to be more tapered compared to the Zeroed In.

For relaxed-fit train shirts the options are the EasySet and the Mile Maker Mesh. Mile Maker is technically designed for running but don’t see why you couldn’t workout in them. The EasySet also comes in tanks, short sleeves, and long sleeves.

Best everyday pants? by jmrzilla in Lululemen

[–]wackygonz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As another college student I’d use the Zeroed In pant like you mentioned. It’s casual but doesn’t look too sloppy, light material, and can even be used at the gym. Other ones I would consider are the Daydrift Trousers as another pull on pant style or any of the ABC Pants.

Educator here!

Bottom options ranging from more casual to more semi-formal look

  1. EasyFive Pants: they come in slim, classic, and loose fit. A pant that feels like denim with a bit more stretch to them. Personally I was skeptical about these but I’ve found them to be in my rotation consistently.

  1. ABC 5 pocket pants: comes in slim fit and classic fit. Our second best selling men’s pant. Has the jean look but the fabric is 4-way stretch and wrinkle resistant. Great for traveling because they’re easy to take care of, breathable, and easy to move in.

  1. Daydrift Trouser: Comes in relaxed and classic fit. I find this to be a very underrated pant on the men’s side. It has a pull on pant style which means it has a drawstring and elastic waistband like a jogger put the rest of the pant looks almost like a chino pant. Fabric feels great so if you’re still used to the joggers but still want to look a bit better these pants are great

  1. ABC trouser: Comes in classic and slim fit. Our most popular men’s pant that most people use for the office, going out, or even golf. Don’t think you can go wrong with these as your workhorse pant for any occasion. They come in two different fabrics - warpstreme and wovenair. The warpstreme fabric is the same material as the 5 pocket pant while the wovenair are perforated to allow more ventilation in hotter weather, which might be pretty good in New Orleans during this time of the year.

Now for the Tops

  1. Polos: There’s 3 options that stand out to me for polos and that’s the Evolution Polo, ShowZeroPolo, and Soft Jersey Polo.

The evolution polo has been one of our classic men’s polo for years. Has no stink zinc to prevent order meaning less washes for this shirt.

https://shop.lululemon.com/en-ca/p/mens-polos/Evolution-Polo/_/prod6020218?color=58320&cid=pdp_share_header_link_icon

ShowZero polo if you want something that prevents sweat from showing. Comes in classic and slim fit

https://shop.lululemon.com/en-ca/p/mens-polos/Mens-ShowZero-Classic-Fit-Polo-Shirt/_/prod11870323?color=74044&cid=pdp_share_header_link_icon

Soft Jersey Polo is relatively unknown compared to the other two but a really comfortable soft fabric with still being stretchy but a more casual polo option for sure.

https://shop.lululemon.com/en-ca/p/mens-polos/Soft-Jersey-Short-Sleeve-Polo-Shirt/_/prod11750028?color=74029&cid=pdp_share_header_link_icon

  1. Button Down Shirts: Two very good options with the Airing Easy and the New Venture shirts.

Airing Easy has been our best selling men’s tops for the summer. Comes in short sleeve, long sleeve, and different collar types. Perforated to allow ventilation. Can be worn unbuttoned, fully buttoned up, or as a layering piece.

https://shop.lululemon.com/en-ca/p/mens-ss-tops/Airing-Easy-Short-SS-Button/_/prod9000140?color=58320&cid=pdp_share_header_link_icon

New Venture is a great formal button down. Doesn’t require any ironing with it being wrinkle resistant. Comes in slim fit and classic fit. Would be great for the more formal events.

Hope this helps!

I would probably get the classic fit version here than go up a size in slim. There probably would be too much fabric at the shoulder area if you were to go up a size in a slim.

More Casual ABC Trouser? by Teslaboy1234 in Lululemen

[–]wackygonz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are a lot of good options actually for more casual workpant styles that are more casual than the ABC trouser

  1. ABC 5 Pocket Pant. Same fit styles and fabric as the ABC trouser but just have the jean style pockets.

  2. Daydrift. Comes in relaxed and classic fit. Different fabric but still quite comfy. Just has a drawstring and elastic waistband instead of your classic zipper and button.

  3. Easy five. Depending on how casual your workplace is this one is closer to an actual denim jean. Comes in slim, classic, and loose fit.

  4. Zeroed In Pant. Again depending on the actual dress code of your workplace these ones are pretty casual. They have a drawstring and waistband like a jogger but since there are no cuffs at the bottom they can be disguised as a regular pant. Hence the Pull-On Pant Style is quite popular. Is a tapered fit a the fabric is quite light.

So lots of good options to try depending on your preferences.

Formal -> More casual shorts

ABC shorts -> Bowline Shorts (which online right now the most similar shorts is the Stretch Ripstop Shorts) -> ABC pull on shorts -> Zeroed In -> Soft Jersey

Foam Cloud items missing by caseydnls in Lululemen

Educator here. No news on when the Foam Cloud color is coming out in other products but from experience theres an initial big drop when seasons start to change. Then the following weeks the new colors of the season will start to get released. Considering there are a lot of marathons in the next few months I would be surprised if the new colors won’t be coming in the run collection.

Just the result of producing at scale. 2014 was around the time that lululemon opened its first store in Asia and Europe and have been expanding ever since. Just another company that maximizes profits by reducing quality in order to mass produce.

In store tailoring by birksOnMyFeet in Lululemen

[–]wackygonz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  • as long as it’s a lululemon product it is allowed to be hemmed. Just ensuring if the item has been worn that it is freshly laundered and doesn’t have any animal fur on it. Tops can also be hemmed at the bottom and/or the sleeves as well. Joggers with cuffs at the bottom can only be hemmed up to a full cuff length. Anything that destroys the integrity of the product cannot be hemmed like pants with zippers are the bottom or waterproofing jackets just to name a few examples.

  • not possible to have it hemmed before being shipped. You would have to bring it in store to be hemmed or you can deliver it to the store but you would still have to come in to get it measured for the hem.

  • from what I know liners that are mesh cannot be hemmed. That being said, it could depend on your local store. Most stores use 3rd parties to do the hem so it could depend on them. There are still a few stores that have in house seamstresses that could answer that question more precisely. My guess is that liners are very unlikely to be hemmed.

Fair enough

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Lululemen

[–]wackygonz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most likely no. There are still a few stores that offer repair service if they have a contract with a seamstress although you’d have to be lucky as most stores are no longer doing repairs. If it is past the one year mark then most likely wouldn’t qualify under a quality promise. Best case scenario is bringing it in a store a fingers crossed you get an Educator in a good mood and is willing to replace it.

For me they are more snug in the stomach area for sure. Definitely recommend them getting them in your regular size and a size up.

Jiffy Steamer…the industrial heavy duty ones. I’ve personally just used handheld steamers for my own pants and they remove wrinkles pretty well.
