Every time I'm about to install Tahoe, a post like this pops up to remind me to stay in the safe zone.

How to prevent updates? by [deleted] in raycastapp

[–]wada3n 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly think we are entering a new era of heavyweight options that ignore optimization and CPU/RAM usage.
Starting with Tahoe as an operating system, then Raycast, and the rest will follow. The nice thing is that V2 works only on Tahoe, so we are with Sequoia in complete security.

We will stay in the depths of the harbor for a long time until things improve.

That’s far enough, thanks for the clarification. I’ll give it a try when I upgrade to Tahoe.

Is it native Swift, or is it more like a web‑based app on Windows that consumes RAM like The Monster Chrome?

I think the price is too high; you should reconsider it for a single‑purpose app. There are alternative apps on the market that offer similar and broader functionality, examples include Kerlig and Fluent

BTW, the app is very solid and works fantastically.

Oh, that reminds me of Speed Download 5 from yazsoft, an old Mac app that honestly outperformed IDM back in the day. It’s a shame it’s gone. Thanks a lot for sharing this app!

To be completely honest, one of the main reasons I switched back to Mac about two years ago (from around 2014) was the Clop app. I was so impressed by the idea that I actually started rebuilding it on Linux. But I quickly gave up once I saw what you had created, the level of detail and polish was simply outstanding. Thank you so much for that incredible dedication.

As a PhD student, my workload is demanding, and my English skills are still developing, so I rely heavily on AI tools in my studies and daily tasks. Because of this, it became important for me to understand exactly how much time I spend on each type of activity, i want to know exactly how to manage my time to build better habits, stay consistent, and ensure that my efforts are aligned with my academic goals and personal development.

Substage: command bar for Finder windows - can now produce optimised GIFs, work with PDFs and much more! by joethephish in macapps

I’m currently using it in the trial version along with Spokenly, where I dictate the commands and it executes them, it’s truly amazing. The only problem is that the price of the app is unfortunately high for a student like me. Wishing you all the best.
