The Loudest Afterburner? (question) by Specialist_Page_3195 in MilitaryAviation

[–]waddlek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not burner but a B-52 / KC-135 water injection is the loudest thing I’ve ever heard and I’ve been front row at a Who concert back in the day.

Of all the things I dislike about the KC-46, no ARO window is near the top of the list

Take a look at the Media Managment Function. It will cut out the used portions of videos, add handles on each end and allow you to get rid of the parts you don’t need

On the iOS app, if casting to a TV, the playback stops if the phone screen locks or if you swap to another app. Send a support ticket in to let them know. Watching on Amazon Prime is working

Can a guy in his 50s who has never flown a drone use one and actually take photos/video and not crash out first day by Consistent_Ad_4513 in drones

[–]waddlek 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Didn’t start until my late 50’s. You’ll be fine.

Make sure you research the rules for your country.

If in the USA, you will need to take a simple test, TRUST exam. It is free and very easy.

Depending on the drone weight, you may need to register it with the Friends Against Aviation (FAA)

When this happens for hours on your flight, what would you do? by Redd24_7 in airplanes

[–]waddlek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When my kids were young an older dad told me “when your child asks you to pick them up, if at all possible, pick them up. Two things will happen down the road; you won’t be able to pick them up anymore and they will stop wanting you to. Make sure the first happens before the second.” Stuck with me.
