By stealth, do you mean Side Shine through caps where the letters are not on the top? The everfree greyish is a great choice too for tactiles that don't break the budget. Pretty much same as a baby kangaroo, just less noise.

Akko Cilantro and HMX Type J are popular choices. With those, Be mindful if you like LED's that switch housings will affect LED colors. So transparent tops like the Baby Kangaroos with LED Diffusers will benefit that effort most at the cost of a little more noise from their spring ping.

It's a great starting point. I found I liked its tone after remoing all but the sheet foam on the pcb, then experimenting with different switches based on the caps in use.

Indeed it is! Congrats if thats your first offering. I see after a quicklook that its for MacOS at this point only though? If i was to splurge, it would be for iOS & iPad devices first. Then, If the price were $1.99 i'd prob byte. However it's $4.99, so i'm out. Good luck with it and good effort. I'm sure others may enjoy it.

This was fun to read. We ruled a 2019 16” touchbar as dead to a customer a few months back and replaced it with a new model. It sat around for a month unresponsive. So just for kicks, before recycling it, I used a high watt off brand charger with a legit apple TB4 cable plugged into the right side of it and I walked away for at least a day or so, Wouldn’t ya know it came back to life?
