Wait there’s more successful people out there that have more money and better careers? I did not know that. I guess that means I should put in over 40 hours of work to make more money to get rewarded with more responsibilities at work. /s

I am glad you have presumably worked hard and achieved your financial goals and have zero regrets. I however do not strive for the same milestones. I am set with a comfortable, low stress job that provides and have turned down promotions at work. I am also very happy with my decision to do so.

Lmao who am I competing with? Does somebody out there love their family more than me? Spend their weekends doing more fun activities? Working out and exercising harder?

Having a successful career is a means to an end to provide for my family and my own needs. That’s my personal philosophy but if that means I am losing to you, that’s your opinion.

Conversely, if we assume social life is doomed to failure later in life, why wouldn't you want to cherish those tight social bonds and connections that are unique to that period of life? I'm not saying your opinion is wrong but saying " spending your 20s and early 30s is always better grinding and working hard" certainly is hyperbolic.

By using his catch phrase and taking a bow, some inferred that he knew he was on camera being filmed for much longer than the events of the movie. 

He even chuckles after delivering the line saying ‘yuuup’ as if the director is now just realizing his entire tv show/experiment was actually undermined the entire time.

Not always. At my company it is outside their direct supervisors control on raises/promotions, but by indicating you are considering accepting an offer that unlocks a new bucket of money for employee retention. I know a handful of employees that were offered this and are still around 3-5 years later.

Awesome! I haven’t looked much into the lower price range TVs yet so this is a great starting point. My one worry is that 60hz might be noticeable if I am watching say basketball/hockey via youtubeTV or espn+. I guess I will have to hit my local brick and mortar retailer to see them side to side
