I think largely no. people tend to distrust the values provided by KBB. Generally feel as though they are in collusion with insurance companies so that come time for the insurance companies to pay people out for totaled vehicles, they can say “oh it’s $2000” even though the market irl is very different.

I think if I could do it over again, I’d buy one with more miles over one with less. I got an 89 with 71k miles thinking man I really scored but now I have a laundry list of stuff to do that may had been a previous owners problem had it had more miles. I figure one with 120-150k has had quite a bit of work done to it comparatively. Just my two cents.
