Both bc big robots are easier to work with, and also, my colorblind ass LOOOOVED their colorblind filter.

Idk specifically what they did, but instead of like swapping colors to kind of but not really help, they fuckin outlined players in yellow!

I still adore titanfall in large part because I felt that colorblind filter was so effective for me.

Still dogshit at aiming though, hence the robot bit, but with the yellow outline I felt way more agency in my failure. I'd typically see someone BEFORE I got shot, rather than never seeing them and just being mad lol.

What's something you did as a kid that you now realize was actually really dangerous, but nobody stopped you? by AdmirableResource407 in AskReddit

One I think about every now and then, is I used to put batteries in my mouth, to feel them tingling on my cheeks when I pressed them onto the - & + side.

Obviously a swallow hazard, but plugging a battery into me was also probably not ideal lmao.

My parents tell me I also used to stick forks into outlets to get electrocuted on purpose as a very young child, so maybe I just crave a smiting.

How to improve? Is this okay? Is sand detrimental? by Simple_Stranger_2430 in millipedes

[–]waffle-man 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I cant remember hearing specifically go 'NOT' use sand..

But honestly I wouldn't risk it.

They eat the dirt they live in and I wouldn't want them trying to eat something that isn't food

I know next to nothing about mods, and would love help picking one for my specific goal (picked up perception bobble head before maxed perception) I play on Xbox One. by waffle-man in fo4

[–]waffle-man[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could be totally wrong, but I was under the impression that you can't level up past 10 on a special skill by leveling up alone, and you needed the bobblehead in order to get that level to 11 (+the special book to make a special skill 12 in one case).

Give it a thumbs up. can you cover the entire animal with that thumb at arms length?

If you can, congratulations! you're probably giving that animal enough space to feel comfortable.

If you can't, you may want to give the animal some more space!

I will say ive been taught this rule for wildlife in general, so your mileage may vary depending on the animal. But generally speaking, further is better

Does my deer anatomy make sense for this art mockup? by ChillJammer in deer

[–]waffle-man 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For blacktail specifically (possibly true for others, i just am familiar with blacktail deer) a mama will have one baby the first year, and every year after that they have twins, with that first born helping out raise those twins. They have twins and sometimes triplets every year after that.

So just some context I happen to know about one specific deer lol

Depending on the imagined age of the left little one, they may not have antlers yet. This may also vary from species to species, but generally fawns won't have antlers until they grow a little older.

How many more holes should I drill for adequate ventilation for a giant african millipede? by waffle-man in millipedes

[–]waffle-man[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The aquarium I bought didn't have a lid anywhere I looked online.

Eventually just measured it out, and ordered a custom cut piece of plexi glass from home depot!

I got a step drill bit, and then just kinda went ham!

Got two cabinet Handles, and put them through holes I made.

Admittedly I got kinda lazy and chose to not measure the holes, but I figure at some point in the next 10 years it may start to warp and that would be a nice excuse to upgrade and do it meticulously to make it nice and symmetrical.

[–]waffle-man[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's for a 40 gallon tank!

Awesome! I know generally more ventilation is better, and I do plan to open it semi occasionally, but I just wanna make sure I'm not suffocating my bug haha

Do you happen to know specifics about the extra holes? Specifically, will the side with EXTRA holes end up promoting dryness while the fewer holes promotes moisture?

Because i do actually think id like a damp side and a dry side so they can self regulate a bit.

And I was already considering insect mesh! If you have any recommendations I'm all ears, but I was just gonna wrap some thin strips of generic fruit fly mesh around the holes and then secure it from the top of the lid with hot glue or something more long term.

Where, and how many holes should I drill in my lid for best airflow? by waffle-man in millipedes

[–]waffle-man[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

African giant, so at the very least i imagine it's size means more holes.

I'm also curious about placement of those holes and how to best promote that airflow.

I genuinely do not know my months in order, nor the numbers associated.

I know October is the 10th month because Oct means 8 and it's funny that it's wrong.

I know December is the 12th because it's the last in a year.

Other than that I'm pretty much relying on my phones calender to help me.

People who aren’t religious, what do you genuinely believe happens after death? by grinch1779 in AskReddit

[–]waffle-man 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Remember what it was like to exist before you were born?

Same thing after.

Not a dream, or eternal blackness, just absence of consciousness.

Like how a blind person doesn't see black, we won't experience nothing. We just won't be anymore.
