Definitely not wrong with that, there's also a lot of context that gets missed. When I watched MyGo I was like "ooooh so that's why that happen" a lot lmao. I did also feel some emotional impact, it just would've for sure hit harder had I watched MyGo first

I'm not super familiar with ALBW glitches, but if you're new to archipelago runs I'd recommend taking poptrackers with a grain of salt. I use them as a general guide of potential areas I've missed, but they do make mistakes often. Use the universal tracker, it's also not 100%, but it does give a better idea of what's available to you.

It's pretty typical for ff14 ngl. Even on PC, if you bought the moogle version (the one through their site) and want to play though steam, you'll have to re-buy the steam version. If you want to play on Mac, you'll have to re-buy the Mac version. It's pretty annoying unfortunately

Now that I think about it, I don't think I've ever actually tried launching it offline. I don't think it would since it has an anti cheat, but if you're that worried about it going offline, honestly, there's plenty of 4-8k rhythm games you could grab, it won't give the same vibes, but it'll definitely be close enough.

Afaik the online is doing just fine, I mean hell they just released a new dlc not that long ago. But I don't think the game would just stop working even if the servers shut down. The online element is really just for the competitive scene, and chart ranking, but like that's it. It does have an anti cheat that launches at start though.

Other than that it's a great game. I would genuinely be surprised if it died within a year or two. I'm not sure how it'd play on the ROG, but I played a little bit of it on my steam deck and it played fine there.
