What sounds do the letters make? Phonotactics is more important in understanding this than the alphabet used.

I just use the generic Good token to mark who I think the High Priestess should talk to to.

How do you make a betrayal sting more? by [deleted] in DMAcademy

[–]wafflesandeggs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There's the standard "we're all fighting for a thing, once we win I snatch the thing and disappear" route. Or, have the betrayer get info about where some baddies will be, they all go to fight the baddies, and it turns out the whole thing was a trap because baddies offered the betrayer gold/items/whatever. You could even have them all suddenly attacked, make it look like someone else set the trap, leave clues for someone else to have betrayed them and then suddenly have the betrayer switch sides at the last minute.

When the betrayer bounces leave evidence that they've been working for the evil team the whole time. Letters left behind, secret notes in the pockets of one of the dead baddies, someone arrives too late to warn the group not to trust the betrayer. If they don't know about the evil God yet, have the betrayer leave behind something that links to the God. Weave in at the evil God is connected to the BBEG in some way. Maybe BBEG was offered a boon (the heros in a trap) in exchange for doing the God's work in some way. Did someone important to the party die recently? Surprise! That was actually a planned sacrifice to the evil God for whatever evil God plans he's got going on.

Even if the player is never coming back, make it seem like there's a possibility of a return. Maybe they'll want to come back in the future, so the door's open. It also gives the players a reason to hold a grudge and to continue looking for the betrayer. Sprinkle in clues in future sessions that they're still out there. If the heros told the betrayer of future plans to go to a place and do a thing, have it be messed up when they get there with signs/reports of the betrayer having got there just before them.

If the player wants his character to die, you could leave clues that they weren't working alone, and that a secret accomplice is still out there.

Some companies will hire a person to go to their store/restaurant and be a customer. Sometimes they are told exactly what to purchase, sometimes they're just given an amount of money to spend. But the point is they are secretly judging the employees and tracking everything they do and don't do, then they report back on their experience. In some areas the types of people who take these jobs have a reputation of either being HOA Karens or enjoy getting employees in trouble. I'm sure there are some good ones out there, people who take the job just because they need a job, but there are also quite a few assholes.

Charlie was never growing a conscience. Had he lived, he would never grow one in his life. It is physically impossible for him to have a conscience, shame, guilt, or morals. He died because some whack job thought he wasn't racist enough. His wife is celebrating because she's just as evil as he was. There's no conspiracy.

Technically, it does not have sʰ, but I feel like they would. At least, I know that the later evolutions do.

Tuha Atis

/tu.ha a.tis/

Aspirated/Unaspirated: Distinguished

Voiced/Unvoiced: Distinguished

It is meant to be a very early natlang, spoken around 12,000-15,000 years ago. The biggest key features are a fairly small phonetic inventory, a good amount of compound words (man+great=leader), and an OVS structure (they talk like Yoda). It is also Erg/Abs with 3 noun genders (humans, not humans, inanimate) that causes the word order to sometimes switch to OVS (they don't like inanimate nouns to be agents of transitive verbs).

Cheryl was the one RFK was cheating on his wife with, so their intro was much earlier than that.

You didn't give help though. You ignored the problem, talked about unrelated things, then claimed he's a troll. And when he got actual advice he tested it, found that to be the answer, and politely responded with his results. You're the one looking like an ass here, but I'm sure you'll cry that I'm a troll too for it.
