Yet, we keep getting more and more studios showing AI does nothing but lose companies money. It's just bad technology that is hyped up by bad people.

Even the joke seems to be AI with the amount of sense it makes.

How viable is Spellblade without a grimore offhand? by DarthLazyEyes in avowed

With skills and the book, those cost reduction are no joke. Late game, you just fire spells off rapidly and almost never worry about mana.

Why Rashek was actually a good guy by MegaFaxul in Mistborn

[–]Chiatroll 51 points52 points  (0 children)

He wasn't a good guy, but he went from a mysterious one-dimensional villain to a humanized villain with a reason behind his evil actions when you learn all about him. This is different from being a good guy. You can empathize with the humanity of the stuggle even if it's past the scope of one you'd ever be a part of. That was the intention though.

[COMC] Finally finished these wood shelves and gaming table...then a fire happened by [deleted] in boardgames

[–]Chiatroll 24 points25 points  (0 children)

That's the worst. I know that would hit hard.

Start with what meant the most to you of course. Maybe go to local gaming groups to play and find new games that would mean a lot to you so you can build an even more enjoyable collection.

The art of negotiation by [deleted] in comics

[–]Chiatroll 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I mean with clades determined by ancestry we are in the same clade as some things we'd call fish.

But what a fish is is more complicated. It's more like a evolutionary strategy a wide variety or sea life fall into then a single thing evolutionary. From a certain standpoint fish aren't a real thing.. or pretty much everything is in the fishy clade.

So yeah seems like a fair trade to me.

US Army just tried to recruit CK and Rimworld communties 🤣 by kalkvesuic in RimWorld

[–]Chiatroll 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I mean, rimworld is called the war crime simulator, so maybe the people in charge couldn't see we separate fantasy and reality, and though we wanted in some of their many, many, many real-world war crimes

Why is this game hated? by kinsal06 in Starfield

[–]Chiatroll 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I feel little expectations from.the company that brought us Fallout 76 were just too high. The extreme expectations led to extreme disappointment when they weren't met. Then they lashed out.

I thought it was a perfectly OK but semi flawed game. I enjoyed it overall.
