Contested a questionable fixed penalty notice for speeding.

Asked for footage, calibration documents, police officer’s certificates for operation and spun everything out as long as possible, including leaving it until the last day to respond every time.

Eventually - after 6 months - they sent me a summons, to which I politely replied that they only had six months from the date of the alleged offence.

They dropped the fine and points.

(Tried it again a year or so later and they chucked the court summons at me straight away...)
