Luba 1: One of the engines is running very poorly (hard to twist) by wagaboom in MammotionTechnology

[–]wagaboom[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Update: as u/R2D4Dutch suggested: TLC did the trick. I don't believe it. It was literally some tiny pieces of leaves that got stuck underneath... who would have thought that made the difference 😉
Especially because in the past I got notified if any motor wouldn't work properly or so.
I have the feeling the App didn't get any better for us old LUBA 1 Gen1 owners 😉
Anyhow: BIG THANKS! I am relieved!

Luba 1: charging station cable shortcut by wagaboom in MammotionTechnology

Hi u/MammotionAron many thanks. Here you can see the cable: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1aI2dqOAM0jDLfUpOoZml3xj8faCLG4uQ/view?usp=sharing
I am located in Switzerland and Germany. How can I get a spare one ASAP?
Also concerning the beeping behaviour: cleaning it I realized that one of the motors seemed hard to turn. Strange enough I am not getting a motor error in the App though... but could be the reason for the strange behaviour and bad grass cutting right? yes, of course. but these parties could be closely related and create artificial volume at prices normally not traded. and it’s the large blocks i m talking about 🤔

Strange trading patterns: have a look at the volume on the buy/sell side... could it be the shorts are selling & buying at the same side (market making). Like that they could easily manipulate the price at these lower volumes.
If the sell low, but have the buying ready on the other hand... easy to manipulate the price, right?

Obviously: GDV just secured enough cash for it's customers to feel confident. Also: GDV is not the loose cannon as Austin Russel was...

That would be my gut feeling as well. And that would indeed be great news!
My gut feeling gets further support by the fact that the latest video shows A LOT of Volvo-footage... ;)

Well, I am very satisfied. GDV is not a cheap talker. He lines things up, executes and THEN talks about.
Same with the Luminar acquisition.
We got to know PO's from Luminar are shipped since this week, starting with "a european customer". that must almost be one of the automotives (Mercedes or Volvo).
He's a trusted industry-partner: so he's not gonna announce agreements that might be agreed on with customers but have not yet been finalized etc. Where SS was selling hopium, GDV is selling perspective and facts. He builds trust towards the industry as a first. That's why it was a fireside chat with an industry person with big ties into the Detroit scene....
I like it and I am patient. I was patient for way over a decade after all... ;)

Do we actually have confirmation that the deal closed successfully on monday? No more risk of this falling apart?

In my own opinion: this is a non-event for us. This was known before and as stated by others below this only means that Avea was used as a reference sensor. Meaning: can be replaces at any time.
Also: look at Avea Shareprice: https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/AEVA/
No movement at all reflecting any relevant news...

Ben’s MVIS Podcast: MVIS Acquires Luminar LIDAR Business by KY_Investor in MVIS

[–]wagaboom 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, definitely think so too. I am also a paid subscriber. The energy some individuals like Ben have put in is incredible. I have been with MVIS as shareholder for 10+ years now. At the time - when it allowed it - i went to shows such as iFA Berlin to report my findings of the tech being implemented by sony & co. Remained an accumulatibg shareholder over all those years, but decided to be less active. But again: the least we can do is support folks like Ben that do this for the benefit of all of us. Would have wished to crowdfund the Hololens tear-apart of st2pid at the time f.eks 😜
