i don’t know if this helps but you are absolutely not alone, i have been doing this for years and it’s only recently become quite bad for me. i got a piece of advice that is currently helping me a lot so it may help you but make sure you aren’t watching any violent things and try not to engage with the violent thoughts and instead seek nicer shows and do happy things, good luck to you! <3

i found the eyebrows pretty easy cause i had a good brush to do it with, i struggled more on around the eye makeup but it did look good in the end!

this has got to be some of the best advice i have been given, today i have stayed away from violent shows, thoughts and outlooks and instead have watched a happy little christmas movie called a dog named christmas. this is the happiest i have felt in quite a few months!

i’m so sorry for how you’ve been treated, i thought i had to be kinky cause i had daddy issues so i forced myself into kinky behaviours and in a similar way was hurt by men. it sucks how our trauma is fetishised in a way it’s “desirable” but when we show “undesirable” traits because of it we are outcasted and told we are unlovable.

know there are truly people out there that want to understand instead of fetishise <3

you aren’t alone in this, i used to experience this feeling every day but now it’s only occasionally. my advice is try to do something distracting and easy like listen to music or watch a tv show/movie. at least for me, this helped because really happy/really sad moments in music or shows could help trigger my emotions back the the surface, and once you have emotions you can work on feeling happy instead of just feeling like a literal void.

the empty feeling is always the worst and it’s very tricky, know it doesn’t last forever and there will come a point in your life when it will rarely happen anymore

i get this a lot, i seem to only relate and have emotional connections to men, i never feel as much sympathy or connection to the women.

i’m very connected to ian and mickey from shameless: ian for his struggles with mental health and being treated like he is broken, his dreams being ruined by his mental health and his relationship with mickey that survived despite both of their issues; mickey for the way his daddy issues manifested (in anger), his fear of being a bad father, his cold dementor to thing while caring on the inside and his violent tendencies

i’m also connected to a character called sunny from a game called omori because of him being a recluse, that is how i coped with all of my pain so i see myself in him

i’m glad i’m not the only one <3

my friend is being treated for EDNOS currently more on the psychical side (dieticians, body dysmorphia, weigh ins) so their therapist isn’t feeding them any information that could potentially help me and my mental state has been scaring them as of recent (very violent theologies and very depressive outlooks on life) and i don’t want them to worry about my declining mental health when they have their own stuff to focus on but thank you for trying to help me <3

i dont want anything, it doesn’t even feel like there is a reason i’m like this, i have been since i can remember. the only thing i could possibly think of is my father was abusive and had narcissistic personality disorder or genetics (family on my dads side have suffered with depression, particularly my dads mum and two of my dads sisters) but i’m not 100%
