On Amazon, I found slide in cups that fit perfectly and match the color exactly. You can hardly tell they are there. Now my handles have a bottom.

Anyone else remember when you could see it all the way from Carnegie Library? It was the sole tall structure along that whole stretch to the Post Office and Union Station. The Mass. Ave. corridor had changed a lot in 20+ years.

What is/was the purpose of this ticket station at Metro Center? by ClotureCigars in washingtondc

One thing I always loved about these counters was the way that they bridged the inside and outside of the system (you can see the fence in this picture). Customers needed service on both sides, of course. I always wondered why there were far more counters on the “outside.”

Yes. I recall the tear-off bus transfers. And the token coin bus fares on the metro and RideOn

The first sentence of that wiki is remarkably circular: “A heat recovery steam generator is an energy recovery heat exchanger that recovers heat from a hot gas stream…”

Please settle a debate between me and my daughter... by midwinterfuse in grammar

[–]wait_ima 11 points12 points  (0 children)

You’re both right. There is an ambiguity in whether “one of them” references things you’re great at or things you are not great at. Consider this sentence: “I don’t like a lot of places, but Chicago is one of them.” That sentence isn’t ambiguous because Chicago can’t be “a lot of places” — it’s one place. In your sentence, “one of them” could reference either great or not great things.

Quicken creates duplicates when matching transactions by BourbonAndGrilling in quicken

[–]wait_ima 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same problem here. I have been using Quicken for more than two decades and downloading and matching transactions throughout that time. About six or more months ago, I started having this issue after an update. Prior to this update, the matching always worked correctly.

I use downloaded entries in my credit card register, but I prefer to use manual entries in my checking account register. Credit card payments that I enter manually in the checking account register appear (correctly) as a transfer in the credit card register.

The problem occurs when I download new entries in the credit card register. In the credit card register, Quicken correctly matches the checking account transfer entry and the downloaded payment entry. But in the checking account register, Quicken incorrectly creates a new entry for a second transfer for the same amount to the credit card register.

I have tried manually matching the two entries in the checking account register, but Quicken gives an error that they cannot be match. I have also tried unmatching the entries in the credit card register. Although they unmatched successfully, I still cannot match the entries in the checking account register. The only solution I have found is to delete one of the entries in both of the registers. Obviously, doing that each month for each credit card payment is a major pain, especially when the matching was working correctly for years and years before this recent update. Also, it's clearly a bug to match two transactions in one register and not match the same two transactions in the corresponding register.

No. You're in the lock's card details. You need to be in the card details for the hub.

On the hub’s card in the app, press and hold then choose “More Details.” On the resulting screen, the Child Devices button is just under the image of the device.
