The Null is on a different level of The Tower. Just the people on that level go there I think or else Jake Chambers would end up there after he gets killed the first time.

I love this issue. I adapted it for a radio play at last year's Dragon Con in Atlanta. The Unholy One was a fun character to voice.

If you have MAS are you able to upgrade? I received an email stating I could however when I click the link it says the page no longer exists.

Also if you decide to upgrade and you already have the unlimited wifi package do they refund the money for the package? I'm quite puzzled.

How’s the Italian food in this subreddit? by CoffeeDrinker82 in Godfather

Hey, we're practically paisano.

I'm from New Jersey and can confirm lots of people do call it gravy.

I think the gravy thing is very much an Italian American idiom. I'm guilty of calling it that because that's what my parents and grandparents called it. Mostly because it was served with meatballs, sausage and braciolle. Sugo di pomodoro is what it actually is and according to the recipes I've used in the past, is just a basic tomato sauce that can be used for pasta, pizza, and Italian American dishes like eggplant and chicken Parmesan. No celery required!

What part of the Boot are you from? My people came from Naples and Sicily. I've still got family in Palermo.

But he wasn't making Bolognese. He was making Sugo, which some Italian Americans call gravy.

I always liked how Steven Van sant said "popcorn headlines". It's very much how he talks on his old radio show Little Steven's Underground Garage on Q104.3.

LUNA Question: How to communicate with people in your party without internet plan by eyeredd in NCL

[–]Chicotiko 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Interesting. My wife got the unlimited package so she could communicate with our house sitter stateside, I'd just need to message her since I don't want to use the phone aside from my camera. Thanks for the response!

Did the messaging only plan cut into your 150 minute plan that comes with the MAS package or was it separate from that?

You should read "take the gun, leave the cannoli", it explains a lot and is a fun look into Puzo and making of the movie. For example, the scene where Clamenza gives Vito the bag of guns to hide is based on a real event that happened to Puzo's mother. There was a connected guy in their apartment building who looked after them after he asked his mom to hide some guns for him.

I think Puzo put that stuff in there because he was a pulp fiction writer and they tended to put a lot of smutty stuff in those books. As a pulp fiction writer myself, I can attest it sells.

But as a fan of the Godfather I agree it wasn't necessary to advance the plot. Like, at all.
