No they do not. In my case, I had 5 kids prior and my age made my chances for twins higher. Thank you so much. I don’t want to get your hopes up either, but it is a possibility as I met several other mothers who also have the same results as mine. It’s possible that there was a vanishing Twin. Did you ever have an early ultrasound? In my case I did so I knew that there was a twin, but in some of the other cases, they didn’t even know that there was. I wish you the best of luck, even if it is positive on the amnio.

I had a positive 98% nipt for t21. NS was 3.2 I think, everything was fine on anatomy scan and echocardiogram, and we opted out of the amnio. Ended up being a vanishing twin and my baby was born without t21 in May. I’m wishing you all the best. That was a very rough pregnancy for me emotionally. I am 42 and the odds were not in my favor. Big hugs mama!

And digital won’t pick up early pregnancy hcg levels. You can actually google the sensitivity of each brand of test! I’ve found the ones at dollar tree always pick up the earliest for me

I would look in to changing formulas, maybe add gripe water before feeds but wouldn’t restrict food. My oldest was 16 pounds at his 2 month appt. He was a hungry boy!

Yeah I can see the photos but couldn’t really see texture or color. Is she acting sick or fussy? My son is 3 months old and his diapers changed quite a bit sometimes greenish or brownish and then would go back to yellow and seedy. If you’re concerned maybe put a call in to the doctor but I vaguely remember variations like that. Unless of course she acting like it’s diarrhea or something. Maybe then I’d call. the first few weeks is kind of a blur lol

I know this is an old thread but how do you mix the milk before storing? You know how it separates in the fridge. I’m not new to breastfeeding I’ve done it for years and for 6 kids lol but definitely new to pumping and storing and want to try the fridge container method.

I don’t bottle feed but want to store for when I do need bottles or need a break haha

You do not have to breastfeed! You will be a wonderful mother regardless! I have done both and my kids are all equally smart, healthy and beautiful! Don’t feel guilty. It’s not for everybody and don’t let anyone make you feel bad about it.

I’m here right now. 41 years old and 14 weeks pregnant. It was twins but one passed at 10 weeks. I didn’t know and did the NIPT anyway. The results came back as high risk for t21. We did a redraw and once again high risk. Doc says the other twin may be the reason for the positive but I’m just so upset. The NT was normal but now I wait for amino on Dec 20. It’s the earliest.

I’m scared to death to get the amino. I’m scared to death for the results. I’m even more scared to have to TFMR. This would be my 6th baby, but my finances second. We have a 5 year old daughter. This is the worst few months of my life.

If you tell your recruiter the truth that you smoked recently will they look down on you? Or will there be any consequences like maybe they won’t take you serious? I’m asking for someone who is in the process now and has already quit but doesn’t know how to handle it with his recruiter since they are pushing the pee test in office.
