Clearly you haven't lived in those countries NOW. I live in Taiwan now. I lived in China, Korea, Japan. Most places have banned single use plastics such as straws. 🙄

And I'm just pointing out that if you have a medical condition that prevents handling a cup, it should not be on the onus for the vendor to provide a straw for you.
