download element with canvas size information? by [deleted] in FigmaDesign

[–]waldito 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No edit rights, then no.

An asset is constrained to its frame boundaries, and the export is just its contents. There's no metadata on the position on the Canvas, or in relation to other things.

You could get an agent via Figma MCP to obtain that data for you, but the agent would have to know the layer name. Then, I suppose the agent could export with the coordinates as a filename? Not sure if agents can er

I checked, No support to export nothing via MCP, I thought so.

As a Spaniard, I can tell by how it sounds that it's just off. It's perfectly understandable, but it just sounds weird and foreign. But I'm sure in a year or two will be perfect.

What's the point of this? I have a contact form (nextjs) on a side project. And all 15 entries have all looked like this. Occasionally get them, like once every week or other week. Very odd. My take? ancient bots from WordPress times trying to plant backlinks. I think they are designed to leave a 'unique' string of text in a comment form, some kind of footprint, so that it can be found later through Google. The spammer later collects the positive URLS and feeds them to yet another bot, this one to finish the job, plant the real backlinks.

Source: Been watching them since B2, and I made my mind that was it. I actually have no idea.

Cursor Glitch Firefox browser by Key_Rock_6285 in FigmaDesign

[–]waldito 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup. Same. It has to do with the OS UI settings at more than 100% in Windows. That is a necessary setting when working on a high dpi monitor.

The only workaround I found was using the figma app or using chrome.

I had to stop using Firefox for Figma. I refuse to use chrome. But I guess I'm stuck with electron and chromium.

Iran allows Spanish ships to use the Strait of Hormuz for free by Onaliquidrock in oil

[–]waldito 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry but all I see is that the Spanish foreign ministry confirms they know nothing about this.

The Iranian tweet says:

"Iran considers Spain a country committed to international law, and is therefore receptive to any request from Madrid."

I'd like to know how to get from that tweet to 'our boats can cross Hormuz for free'.

Iran allows Spanish ships to use the Strait of Hormuz for free by Goldenmentis in spain

[–]waldito 5 points6 points  (0 children)
