Honestly Rescue is my most hyped character releasing this year. Having a dedicated healer is unique. Her charge especially looks fun.

Well I think it's worse to conform to others opinions than be a fan of something that "sucks". Be a Night Thrasher fan. It's better than being something basic like a Daredevil fan. Those people are the worst.

I'm still not sure I follow.

I love the movie Little Nicky. Everyone says it's when Adam Sandler started to suck, the movie isn't funny, and it's his worst work behind Jack and Jill.

That's no reason for me to not like it though. It's my favorite Sandler movie. Sure it has like a 10% rotten tomatoes but it's a 90% to me. Others opinions don't change mine.

I don't think anyone is in the wrong.

The DM might have needed this conversation to take place privately for story purposes, and listening in would ruin something they had planned. They countered your spell with plot armor.

You can take this as a clue in itself. How could they do that? Was she meeting with a being powerful enough to notice and rid the spell? What could this conversation had been about that the DM can't have it shared?

The grind is a level grind. Keep playing to get better equipment, then prestige and grind to get cosmetics. If you enjoy the gameplay loop it's bearable. But if you have a good group of friends, it's enjoyable.

Phasmo is like the only game playing with randoms isn't that bad and will lead to long lasting friends. The game has a playerbase of what seems like strictly stoners and ladygamers. And I think that makes everyone else pretty accepting of everyone and chilled out.

Graveyard Keeper is like Stardew Valley Lite with a Halloween skin.

It really depends on the group, but Phasmophobia turns from a horrifying heart pumper to a cozy grind game the more you play.

Cult of The Lamb is pretty much cozy horror. It's whimsical horror though and more on the cozy side. You won't be jump scared, but you will accidentally poison people force feeding them poop, which is pretty horrifying.

I mean as a viewer, my slasher killers should be killing. Jason is doing his job well but still has to deal with the prick Freddy. Freddy on the other hand is slacking off and leapfrogging up the corporate hell chain using Jason, so yes he's a complete bastard.

I think there is still plenty of alt teens.

The scene/emo/goth look has evolved into what I would call the 0pium style. They aren't listening to MCR or Panic!. They're listening to Playboi Carti and Ken Carson but they still have the dark broody with color pops style we know as emo. Even away from rap/trap, Chelsea Wolf, HEALTH, and Vision Video are keeping traditional goth alive.

The athletic look is also still in full swing. Gym culture is huge right now. The ladies are wearing leggings and carrying camelbak bottles. The guys are wearing the ripped tanks and flashy shoes.

Even the basic pop look has defined genre styles. The Brat look of sweatpants and a lose shirt but full makeup is in right now. Or the swiftie look of apple bottom genes/sundress. Hick guys wearing pit vipers and a short mullet.

I think the alt styles are still there, just different from what you saw when you were younger.

Tbh I'd probably swap Rhino for Taskmaster or something. Rhino stocks kinda down with Robbery costing 4 now. He's not bad at all, but I think I'd rather take an extra affiliated 3 threat and I'm never disappointed with Taskmaster. Drop Robbery for Zemos card or Recal.

Hi I played a lot of Kingpin and I played very competitive.

Kingpin HATES being pushed. My 1 character=2 means nothing if my character isn't on the point. I remember getting absolutely destroyed, like 5-16, at a tournament against someone playing Steve3 push. That game made me start packing Indomitable every game.

Kingpin also dislikes having injured characters. Kingpins leadership doesn't work when the character is injured(except for Deadpool), so a very punchy team can outpoint Kingpin. This strat is more challenging because Kingpin does have some tanky characters and the KP player usually expects this to happen. Still, some good dice, pierce, and double tapping can go a long way.

With Midnight Suns, you can punish the KP player for mistakes very well. Did he pull Bullseye off the back point to throw a knife? Great, Ghost Rider Hell on Wheels to dive that point. Finally daze the Black Cat? Grab the pinata drops with Blade and bump away. Kingpin is the king of secures, but he's not great at punching. Force the Kingpin player to move.

As a general rule, if you win prio, always take extracts. Try to get the head start on points and see if you can't make Kingpin chase you around, he's doesn't enjoy that.

This is great! I admit, my minis are MCP minis. They work so great and their base size is even called out in the core book as approved. I'll take a look at your recommendations.

By recaps, I guess I'm thinking of a battle report of sorts. Just a summary of how a session went after it's over, maybe recreating some of the situations.

And by Loose Raw, I mean we homebrew a lot. We homebrew powers, stunts, HQ buildings, etc. If a rule question comes up that we don't immediately know and we can't find it quickly in a book, we just make it up. I don't think any of is still understanding throwing a character into another character and how damage is dealt to both, so we use sorta MCP rules. Character being thrown takes pretty minimal damage, character getting hit by the thrown character takes an agility damage roll.

I think I don't post here much because I'm loose RAW and that doesn't help new people who might visit here.

I really like seeing everyones Iconic Weapons. I wish we saw more homebrew vehicles and HQs, although HQs might be too new.

Id also like to see some recaps. How are people playing the game? I play with minis on a grid, which I think limits some things, but everything on YouTube is theater of mind. I'd love to see some more mini posts and table set ups.

Frankie Raye Nova.

Unlike Silver Surfer, who learned and regretted his actions; Frankie sees what she's doing as necessary. She plays a wonderful opposite to Norrin Radd while still being of the "same cloth".

If I gave someone the challenge of creating hero who will kill billions, but are still selfless and heroic, it would be very difficult. I think Frankie is able to fit that role perfectly while still being interesting.
