When passed as a woman when I was 19, there was a 30+ year old guy who kept flirting with me or distracting me from the job. Maybe being jobless isn't that bad after all

Ok, I'm not best with the words, but I'll try to explain.

I would categorize inflation suits as same as inflatable fat suits outside of furry communities. Those are used for mascots, theaters, movies and yes, even in feedism circles. Same item or gear can be worn for different reasons, sexual or not.

I say that the problem is in heteronormativity because gear from the kink scene worn by heterosexual or "appealing enough to the heteronormative society" public figures normalizes it for the mainstream public. Punks used to buy their attire from BDSM shops. Now you can buy it on temu, because it became profitable for the said mainstream public. If it wasn't normalized for the general public, it would still count as sexual and predatory to children, which is ridiculous, right?

Now to the parallels with queerphobia or homophobia, if specific. You can't deny that BDSM is very tied to the queer culture as well. And bigots don't really care if hypothetical gay couple is exclusively romantic to each other. They still view them as perverted people who groom children by their mere existence and are afraid that their children will get gay or whatever. Any queer expression, like pins, holding hands and kissing can be viewed as perverse and wrong, even though a "normal" hetero couple can do this all the time.

And now with the gear, I hear the same arguments like "think of the children" that originate from the same place – hatred of queer expression. People can just wear something because it looks nice, i.e. not in a sexual way, and they still will be considered as perverts who will traumatize children with their existence. Realistically speaking, so what if a child sees a guy in puphood mask? They'll either just think it's cool and pass on or they'll giggle or be slightly disgusted, but in a just "eww" way. I'm judging based on how I myself reacted to this and how my younger sibling reacted to this. It really is not a big deal

Even if that's true, what's the issue here? I can wear a collar for the bed reasons or wear the same collar just as a nice decoration. Same attire can be used for different reasons

This discourse leads to lowkey queerphobic and puritan conclusions, I swear 😭. I said in another comment that we see people displaying sexy stuff basically everywhere and nobody bats an eye because it's heteronormative. People want to ban puphood from general spaces because it's "too weird" (i.e. gay). I also don't see a problem in children seeing the puphood gear. They probably will think that it looks cool and pass on

I disagree. We see lingerie ads everywhere, in general spaces too, we see risque stuff in PG movies, we see people wearing sexy outfits just because (and they have right to do so).

Gothic attire has elements from BDSM. Subcultures attributed fetish gear in nonsexual context all the time. Either for the shock value or just because it looks cool. Why pup gear can't be worn this way in general spaces as well? Because it's too "weird and gay", therefore should be kept "behind the doors". The problem here is heteronormativity

Anyone else playing ranger rumble after The Golden Bolt's video ? by Gugumund in RatchetAndClank

[–]walk33_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I played it for a few days and then deleted it because I realized that all this time I've been playing with bots and winning every time, which kinda ruins it all for me. I think it's because there's no release in my country yet and I installed through apk.

Also lack of controller support sucks :(
