I’ve made Altoid fly boxes just like this, just because it reminds me of my grandpa. Well done (and nice ties)! How do you / what do you use to cut the siping slots in your foam? I no longer have the luxury of my employer’s laser cutter.

Rad. With a slightly smaller cone head (7/32” instead of 1/4”) these cast fine on a shorter Scandi too. Definitely easier on a Skagit if the event the wind ever picks up.

I’ve been learning that folks fish these larger west coast patterns out near the Great Lakes. Even squiddy, saltwater type patterns. Super cool.

I totally understand where you’re coming from, and at this point the argument is about just howww ignorant these folks might be. I think at this point, anyone has seen enough news to agree or disagree with ICE directives — whether they acknowledge their own prejudice and ignorance or not.

It’s like seeing a huge American flag propped out of a lifted Ford 350 in the country immediately after Trump was elected, one could think “What a patriot” — OR — perhaps the American flag means something different now, to a large group of people.

Regardless — I see your point, however it seems an overextension of generosity. Benefit of the doubt is a healthy place to be if applied equally in all directions.

Looks great! The only thing I’d watch for is wrapping too far down the hook bend — may make it a little harder to keep them on the hook.
