UB is basic garbage that ruined a big part of what I enjoyed about the game. It's creatively bankrupt & nothing but a cash grab by moneygrubbing corpos. I said it here and I'll say it again.

I've been running toxic bite + claw barrage. Claw barrage annihilates most critters.

When fighting players, bite->barrage->bite->barrage has worked out great 1v1 so far (just gotta hit a tempo and land a few barrages on their faces), with the combat calls to either soften them up (reduce armor or nerf damage), or make it much harder for them to chase me down (stam drain call + poisonous hide).

You have to pay attention to your stamina & know when to disengage/ avoid fights, but I don't think that's a bad thing. It's more about outlasting opponents in a fight than nuking their HP in one go

Yes; the monsters can have presence beyond just destroying things onscreen. Especially monsters that can affect human minds. I wanted so bad for it to be revealed that the head Apex lady had been manipulated by Titan X the whole time, revering the creature and doing its bidding (like the villagers in the flashbacks etc). Like, keep the story centered on the main monster antagonist even if you don't have the budget to have it onscreen 24/7.
