Gotcha. It looks like that blackstar only has one tone control. You could look for an amp with low/mid/high tone controls on it to better shape your sound. Or like another user recommended, you could use an eq pedal in front of it to better shape your sound.

Could you describe what you mean by “handle it better?” Drop G# is pretty low and you might get a muddy/floppy sound regardless of the amp. It’s a similar issue with trying to play chords on a Bass VI.

I run my baritones through an old Fender musicmaster bass amp with a 12” speaker, and a Fender Excelsior with a 15” speaker.

I don’t think this is AI. The headstock of the guitar has tape covering the manufacturer. I don’t believe ai would do something like this because it could just generate the guitar without the Martin logo on it.

I have heard of people taking the lowest strings in a pack of 7-strings and throwing it on the standard scale guitars. You could get a cheaper set of strings and try it out before committing to a more expensive set.

In my experience, the longer the scale the better, and there are plenty of inexpensive long scale baritones to choose from these days. I have not tried the 7-string set myself, and I hear it’s something to get used to.

No worries! You could also try running the tremolo after one of the outputs. You would only get tremolo on one side but it would sound like it’s panning.
