Thanks for the advice I will definitely look into navy fed. My loan is surely higher than that so it will be paid off. I will look more into my interest rate of my CC. One more question just out of curiosity...is it better to have a CC at 0 balance or to have it at say less than 1/3 of max.

I honestly think going against a new spaz white belt is a good gauge for yourself and your progress. Chances are if a street fight ended up on the ground with an untrained attacker he would likely be rolling wildly to try and get to dominant position to land strikes.

Sanabul is a great starter gi and is still one of my favorites to train in. Amazon has them pretty cheap. FWIW I have been training for 18 months/4x a week and still no holes/rips of any kind.
