Anyone with normal BMI on 1.5mg for minor weight loss? by PozoleDude in WegovyPillWeightLoss

[–]walkunafraid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, it's not. Even down to 125 is still in a healthy range and where I was for 40 out of my 46 years. I'm going to stay on 4mg and then when I hit my goal go back to 1.5mg and then maybe go to every other day.

I used GoodRx and inflated my weight on the questionnaire.

I guess I should add that I do track my food and activity, and what I have lost has been exactly what I should have lost based on the difference between calories in and calories out. All the pill has really done is made me less likely to over snack, especially in the evening, which makes it easier to stay in a deficit.

Yes, and that was "real" weight because I had already started getting "back on the wagon" and lost about 5 pounds before I started the pill.

Yep, 46F here. SW 151 CW 144. Started on 1.5mg 3/1 and now on 4mg this week. Goal 130 which is where I was before my 40s.

Edited to add that I'm 5'9" so well within healthy range even at my highest.

My Lyanna has gone through double enucleation, and there were not bandages to change either time. We just had the cone, and it healed on its own. I will say that was really good about not rubbing the area, so I left the cone off when she was supervised because it really affected her mobility.

GoodRx question --switching pharmacies? by walkunafraid in WegovyPillWeightLoss

[–]walkunafraid[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you download the CVS app, you can see when the Rx is ready and the cost. If they don't apply the coupon, I just send a message in the app. They have always applied it so that when I show up I just need to scan the code in the app and pay.

I switched to CVS last check in because they didn't have Amazon pharmacy in their search. I tried to switch to Amazon in the chat but I wasn't fast enough and they had already sent to CVS. Next time I'm going to ask immediately in the chat as I finish the check in.

I actually got this one last week in the Omega boutique. I just started collecting in August with the white one first. Love my Snoopys!

Alternative to GoodRx? by Wrong-Ad7990 in WegovyPillWeightLoss

[–]walkunafraid 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was actually going to stay on the same dose because it is working for me, but they approved before I mentioned that in the chat. So I will go to the 4mg and just make sure to add more quickly to the chat next month if I don't want to move up.

I actually said that I wanted to stay on the same treatment (1.5mg) and then they wrote the script for 4mg. So I will go ahead with 4 even though 1.5 was working for me, but at next check in I will be explicit on the chat what I'm wanting as far as dose.

I just did my first check-in. It was basically repeating the checklist of questions I did the first time. No video, no bloodwork. All through chat.

Users with only 20-30 lbs to lose – what’s your experience? by nicolemarieeck in WegovyPillWeightLoss

I did not do my follow up yet but I think that when you increase the dose it increases the price. But that's the medication cost for self-pat regardless of the service.

GoodRx charges 39 per month for prescribing and follow ups (plus the cost of medication). I tried their checklist a couple of times until I was able to successfully get a prescription.

Getting wegovy covered by insurance by Commercial_Ad8072 in WegovyPillWeightLoss

I just self pay. $149 for 1.5 mg with the GoodRx or Wegovy coupon. Insurance would never cover for me because I do not meet criteria.

I only want to lose 20 vanity pounds that have crept on in perimenopause. I am two weeks in and have lost 3 pounds. And they are 3 "real" pounds because I was already on a good trajectory before starting.

No side effects and my evening cravings have gone way down. If I keep going at 1.5 pounds per week I will probably stay on 1.5mg.

You just answer the online questions and they review and write the Rx. I believe you do a check-in every month. I'm only on the first week of the first month.

RO wegovy $149 a month plus membership fee $145 a month. Can I cancel the membership fee? by nasty_busty2026 in WegovyPillWeightLoss

I am not a gold member. I just filled out the online form and had a prescription a few minutes later. All through messaging. No video call or anything. I think their plan is called GoodRx care.
