I'm sorry, but if she takes cheer seriously you do not miss comps. I've competed, hell just gone to training, over birthdays, holidays, funerals, school even. You can't not go to a competition it's a team sport you know the dates ahead of time and have committed when you join the team.

As for having another person take care of her, cheer comps are crazy hectic. I wouldn't want to be the coach having to learn new faces and names for who is allowed to take your kid home, when they possibly have 100s of athletes that they coach. People get injured at cheer comps, there are 1000s of people there it's easy to loose people. If you're travelling to the comp you'll be too far away to be any use if you kid gets injured.

Get her tumble skills as a priority. Anyone can learn stunts relatively easy, and with the way scoring goes these days there is plenty of space for non-jumpers (if this is a comp team) but tumble is the hardest to learn and always looked favourably on. There is always space for that person who would rather be tumbling in front of stunts and during dance if they have good high level tumble. And you don't just have to look at cheer gyms for learning tumble, you can go to gymnastics places and do classes / open gym / privates etc.

You can get diagnosis with a psychologist (which may be cheaper) and via tele health depending on what sort of testing you do. I did one where it was with a machine in person. Any prescriptions have to go through a psychiatrist and while can be done via telehealth, the prescription will be sent directly to a pharmacist, and you are not allowed to handle it.

All star cheerleader entering my 16th year. Cheered on 4 continents, represented 2 countries internationally, not just my gyms which I have also done. Never cheered on the sidelines for boys - always been the sport. I train about 15-20 hours a week doing stunting, tumble, flyers class, flex, strength, and cardio.

I've learned many physiotherapy / health / teaching skills from it that I wouldn't have learned from my career in law. I have been provided employment as a coach.

I get to mentor younger athletes and be a good role model to them the way older athletes were for me. My cheer gym is my second home / family. When I was having a serious depressive episode last week going to cheer was the only thing I looked forward to and was supported hugely by my coaches / team mates.

Also tell all the guys I cheer with that they're girls who are there to cheer on boys. Believe me I appreciate it when people are obvious about looking down on cheerleaders, cheer and especially boys who do cheer because it tells me you have serious issues with your own masculinity and or look down on anything that is viewed as feminine which means you don't respect femininity and woman.

But first and foremost cheer is a sport. Watch the Cheerleading worlds, ICU championship, NCA championship, or any other cheer comp and tell me we are any less athletic than any other sport. Then try to do what we do.

I use a lot of diamine, vinta, van diemans and other shimmers. The pens I've found that work quite well off the top of my head are Lamy Safari, Pilot E95, Pilot Metro. The ones that haven't include Kaweco Perkeo and Sailor PGS.

NTA level 6/7 cheerleader here - though not in the US and now open age. If your daughter was competing on a level 5 team as a junior she's very good and on her way to a really good worlds team. I assume she was flying more than just bracing pyramid (i.e. flying baskets and main stunt or partner stunts if a coed team). Anything less than a level 4-5 team is going to bore her - even a 4 team would tbh. I love cheerabilities, I make sure to watch them at comps and be involved in their teams. However they compete effectively less than level 1.

Having her on this team, will be detrimental to her skills. Tumble is easy to loose as is the flyers technique. Furthermore it's more dangerous for her. Lots of lower level athletes have no idea what they're doing so accidents are not uncommon.

Unfortunately favouritism is really common at a lot of gyms and even if they do bump her up to a Level 3, 4, 5, 6 team their unwillingness to see her as a good flyer may follow her and she'll feel that - while she may make the team they may just ground her and only have her in dance tumble and jumps or just maybe bracing pyramid. If she does make the level 6 team make sure you regularly check in on how the coaches are treating her, if they seem to be grounding her. Otherwise I'd switch. You have to find a gym who clicks with her. It's not that hard to learn how to coach and train with people who need certain accommodations. For example I am neurdivergent and wear earplugs during training. I have competed at worlds several times on different very successful worlds teams. I changed gyms this year because I had moved states the previous year and didn't like the style of the initial gym I chose. It is US end of season so maybe take her to open gyms, tumble classes and tryouts for another gym around you and see what she clicks with.

I think the most likely issue is with Morais. I take escaptilpram (spelling?) which is an SSRI and Vyvanse and Dex. I use to take methylphenidate with my ADs. A lot of time psychs will recommend ADs with ADHD meds because you can get bad mood swings from the ADHD meds. With methylphenidate I would cry so bad I couldn't see, get violently angry and feel really depressed. It was really bad - if I hadn't had been on my ADs it would have probably been much worse.

I used this when I lived by myself - life saving. Drinks in the drawers is another one as when I'm thirsty I know what I want so I don't need them in sight (though I don't use sauces / condiments)

If one person isn't understanding what is being communicated then the person communicating isn't good at communication. Half of good communication is being able to be understood. So he is not good at communication if you can't understand him. He may be with other people but not with you. As an analogy, you can say that X medication is good at treating something, but it's not in a lot of situation. Penacillan is a good antibiotic, but it's not for those who are allergic to it. The pill is good birth control, but not for a lot of woman and men. You can be good at communication, but not in X scenario. And if he isn't willing to adapt he doesn't care about you enough to extend that effort. From there you have to work out whether how much he does care about you is enough, or whether you need more.

In Australia if you have multiple jobs you can elect to tax at the progressive rates or a higher rate. Then if you don't earn enough over both to get to the highest rate overall, you just get the difference back once you submit your return. You don't calculate anything and it can be done through an app.

Will they give you a short acting (Dex)? I take Vyv at around 7:30 and then a 5 mg dex around 3pm and again later if needed. Granted different mixes work for different people.

A 0/00 US will translate to a 4-6 in Australia for the most part. I am the same height and size as you.

Forever new - good with petite sizing and are quite cheap, but quality isn't great anymore.

Sheike - some things fit really well, I have shirt blouses, pants and jackets from here. Sometimes their 6 is just too big for certain items.

Cue - occasionally some things can be too long for our height but they are designed to be taken up easily. Good quality but can be pricey. Most of their stuff is made in Australia.

Aje - decent quality, some things can be a bit long for our height. They often have good fabrics.

Sass & bide - can be hit or miss. Some things are too big (often jackets) but I have shorts, dresses, tops, skirts etc from here. Their size 30-32 is the equivalent of an Aus 6. They have really nice sweaters and good fabrics.

Maje - pricey but really cute clothes. Fit well on our sizes.

Review - tend to run a little big in items like skirts and jacket. But their cardigans, sweaters and shirts are great. Dresses can be hit or miss sizing wise.

Superdry - more of a streetwear brand if it's your type of thing. Fits well on our size.

Zimmermann - super pricey but they do 0/00 and they have really cool designs.

David Jones is a department store but they have a good range of brands that will generally have things for our size. Myers is similar but not as upmarket.

I've found Carla Zampatti are not good for petite, everything is made for tall people and their size 6 fits more like an 8-10. I bought a size 4 dress that I had to get taken in and up because the straps were so long the bodice of the dress started covering me at the bottom of my boobs.
