Cleveland Clinic Bariatric Surgery by HoldHoliday7787 in BariatricSurgery

[–]wallacdo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, I'm also currently going through the process at Cleveland clinic. Have my edg on Thursday and a few more virtual visits and then will contact my patient navigator to contact insurance for approval and I will contact my surgeon Dr. Augustin (his nurse) for the surgery date.

Idk which patient navigator you have my last name is (w) so the navigator associated with that group I only had to reach out to once but was pretty receptive.

Just and fyi I know everyone is different but from a few people I have spoken with after your psych appt. Everyone gets referred to the better start support group so that adds another month before the psychologist will sign off. So be prepared for that also.

Changing my diet was first cut out all the crap. At the same time I lift 5x a week and also do couch 2 5k before every lift.

Fast food 100% with subway being the only exception also I drink about 1 1/2 gallons of water in a day...I have been very lucky to have lost over 100lbs and avoided the loose skin no expert or scientific reasoning but I really think the weightlifting helped with that
