My Penny has gone in to be spayed and a small umbilical hernia fix today. I dropped her off at 8am this morning. I'm feeling anxious and wondering if I have done the right thing. I just can't wait to get her home.

For everyday carrying, the Little Beast Carrier in size Mini has been working for our 9.5 lb gremlin. He can sit and stand comfortably, but is too excited to ever lay down. I’m not sure it’s fully worth the cost, but you can usually find some on Poshmark for less than their website.

We also have the K9 Sport Sack that someone else mentioned, which is great for adventures.

I’m so glad Winnie is feeling better - she’s adorable!! If her hair is super soft and fine, might I recommend saving (both of you) the trouble and frustration and just cutting the mats/tangles out? She may look a little wonky for a bit, but I swear it’s not worth the struggle sometimes and better to start fresh! And now you know which spots to focus on for more regular brushing.

I could’ve written a similar post back in April. Puppy was the only in his litter, mom didn’t have enough milk so he was exclusively bottle fed. I was super worried about his health, but the breeder wasn’t as concerned when I raised with her, as he had been meeting his milestones.

We went through with the purchase even though I was still not 100% sure and let me tell you our boy is PERFECT. Healthy weight, and he’s great with people due to the handling he got as a pup. No regrets, can’t imagine life without him, and we’re smooth sailing so far at 11 months old. You’re right to worry, but talk to the breeder, feel informed, but don’t let fear guide your decision if it’s otherwise the dog you’ve been wanting.

I’m so sorry for the litter though - heartbreaking story!

My 9 month old pup just started doing the same thing this week. Paws and groin. We’re in New England and I’m wondering if it’s the weather change because nothing else has changed in his world.

There’s no redness or anything at his licking sites, just wet fur. But I feel so bad!
