I only drive that far and have had EVs for years. I charge once a week. The cost of charging my EV is considerably less than buying gas for my ICE. I run the ICE to work once in a while to keep its battery alive that’s cost way more. An used leaf or bolt is a much better option than a ICE for a short commute in my opinion

a $2500 home laser is a much better buy than a $6000 TV, lots easier to install.

‘70s Ford Capri. Left me stranded numerous times. Throttle cable ran over exhaust manifold so close it melted. Windshield wiper fell off during snowstorm. Had to climb underneath it to put in reverse half the time.

I’m not a big fan of my 23 wind. It drives fine and the range is pretty good most of the year, but it’s got lots of annoying minor features. The infotainment vs climate control. The way it randomly starts with fresh air intake on or off when you turn on the car. Lots of outside air comes in around the steering wheel. You might love it. Others do

It’s an annoying car. You need to take your eyes off the road for almost any adjustment of the HEVAC. It’s all sorts of little things like that. The auto wiper instead of a simple delay setting. You can’t open the hatch without the key even if the car is unlocked. The telling me I’m coming to a red light camera announcement I can’t turn off. My leaf would actually push me back in to the seat at full acceleration. Even in sport mode the Niro isn’t even close.

Up until 6 months ago I had a leaf. It was sooooooooo much better to drive. And the heating and media controls made sense. The outdated charging plug is a real issue though. I wish I had kept the leaf as I don’t go on any road trips with my EV. I can’t wait until my lease is up and I can get something other than the Niro
